Another good episode. I love to know who Alfie alludes to when he says some players are not very happy with him. He is a good summeriser
yep, I thought a very good episode too.
Think Alfie feels free to lift the lid a little now, as it is likely the players the players he was talking about will be good (hopefully) soon.

1-1 I think we can just about hang on to a point.
Went to Chelsea and West Ham and both sold out and most games only 60 odd left for 1 away or general so Saints awsy support still top notch. I gir Everton tickets so expect another great awsy day. LCFC will be good and perhaps the players can pick up thier game a bit for the fans.
Hi, how are the Everton sales going?
I see they are now open to Season Ticket holders, without any away games.I know it's doubtful, but I hope they get through to members stage.

It's unfortunate JUric went public with this - we only know his view and there are always 2 sides to every story.
No way Juric maintains the support of the dressing room with the way he is publicly throwing his players under the bus. Criticize in private (1-1) not in publicWhilst I 99% agree with you, I also think that if a new manager walks into a locker room which is in a chaotic state, then drastic action needs to be taken.
Sometimes, it is worth throwing someone under the bus, to scare the rest of the players into action.
Not necessarily saying this is the situation here

As much as I don't want us to go down, if we could bring Everton down with us, it would not seem all bad.
Now we are doomed to relegation, I really need the likes of Leicester, Ipswich and Wolves to start getting results.

Could this be the new era, or much of the same

I think it's the same person who designed this super computer, as to also designed our Black Box.

I remember him on MOTD, the season after we sold Højbjerg.
Think we were playing something like our 3rd game of the season, and Jenas gave his insight into our game.
Said something along the lines of "I thought Højbjerg were really great for Southampton today".
Obviously hadn't paid any interest into our game, and just thought Højbjerg usually has quite good stats.
I lost any respect that I had for him that day, and just thought if I made such a lazy mistake in my employment, than I would expect to lose my job.
His one role is to watch games of football, and then give some insights into said games of football.

Has anyone found a decent pub near to the ground?

Got tickets for me and the lad to go to the Newcastle game. Not been to St James park before, so really looking forward to it.

That is true and could benefit us. Nevertheless, Leicester will have a whole season and will play against the same teams as we shall, as in last season. Last season we were both top dogs in a lesser league. Next season we shall both be bottom dwellers in a strong league. Leicester have demonstrated that they were the stronger of the two sides. One might expect the stronger side to do better than the weaker side against better teams (EPL) to a greater degree than both performed against poorer teams (Championship).
Therefore, although I agree with your argument, I still think Leicester could well overcome a 10 point deficit and finish above us.
Let’s hope not.
This is of course if it is, and remains a 10 point deduction. There is a chance that it could be less than 10 points, and there is a chance it could also be reduced.
If teams keep getting these points reductions, and then stay up, it makes me feel that there is a good probability that it is worse the risk.

I bet this happens all the time.
So annoying that companies can get away with this.
Either people have to go out of their way to try and prove they are innocent, or people just do not bother and pay the fine.
All because these companies do not have adequate systems in place, or are being chancers and wanting to get extra income.

From a financial point of view, Saints have played a blinder with the memberships. Extra £20 on a few thousand tickets.
I know. I bought 2 memberships, and didn't get any tickets

This might help, in case you hadn’t seen it.
Thank you so much.
It could be this, but I already had membership, just bought 2 for my wife and daughter today.
I must e dong something wrong, as there is no buy button.
Got a work meeting to go to at 2, so looks like I shall not be going. Not the end of the world, but a little disappointed.
-
It's really weird as it states:
Monday 20th May: 12:30pm – Supporters who have attended 1+ home or away match in the 23/24 season.I have this, it is just not showing a buy button.
Going to get kicked out again.
-
Can anyone help.
I am passed the queue, but still cannot see how to actually buy tickets.I think it maybe due to only buying membership today (all other seasons I have bought, but this year I just cannot to many games due to kids football commitments).

To me, it’s about being with my mates and fans getting to London, pre-match in London, being in the stadium for the atmosphere, in London after the game, train with mates and fans back to Southampton, more than about being up close to the pitch.
But thanks for the advice.
Could not agree more.
Still got 30 minutes in the queue, after being kicked out once already.
I live in London, so if I don't get tickets, will either have a BBQ with friends at mine, or go to Wembley and watch in a pub, or travel to Southampton to watch in a pub there.
As much as I love watching football, match days for me are about the train journeys, the seeing the new places and pubs, the chats with other fans, and also the opposing fans.
I've been to Wembley lots of times before for other events, used to work opposite when it was being built and got loads of free tickets.
I usually go to games with 3 out of the 4 kids. Decided that for this game, if I can't get tickets for all 4 of my children and wife (my daughter and wife have never been to a game before), then I would be much happier watching with us all together.
Friday at St Marys was so special. It meant the world to me that I took my 8 year old with me, and him missing a day of school. It's not all about the 90 minutes, it's about the whole day.

The queue just keeps getting longer and longer.
Went from 1 hour 20 minutes, to 2 hours 20 minutes, and now showing as 2 hours 30 minutes. This is after I have already been in once, bought 2 memberships, and then was thrown out.
Supposed to be at work, this is not going well at all.

It is all getting a bit worrying with the new season starting up.
Mine still seems to be working, and have 10 months I think still remaining.
However, if they have gone, I am not sure that will last anyways.
If anyone knows an alternative, please can you let me know?
Such a shame as I have had Saints Player for 5 years, and always been quite reliable.
