He is physically ready, since the end of august, 5 games in the French league, and 2 appears with the France U21.

You should also come to live with us, sleeping here is unforgettable.

I had the pleasure of working in Brest a year or so ago, was doing a cruise ship refit in the dry dock there. Although most of my time was spent in the dock, I did have a few trips out into the city. Must say its a very nice part of the world and (unsurprisingly) a lot like Cornwall.

Visited Plougonvelin as well, what a lovely place that is!

  2. Worst and best window?

Analysts at Carteret advise a handul of Premier League clubs on how much a prospective signing would be worth to them, based on how much impact a player has on winning games of football.

They've given us a look at how they rate all Premier League signings this summer.

Southampton, Tottenham and Arsenal have had the best window so far, according to Carteret.

All three of those club's signings are considered to have a higher value than their transfer fees.

The worst value? Chelsea and West Brom.

Not sure his view is shared by many ! Hes talked about bill gates and 'follow the money' that covid is all to do with a vaccine conspiracy and making money.

His latest comments are all about wearing a mask and it being some sort of 'control' by governments.

Roll back a couple of days and he affirmed the suggestion that covid cant be spread easily by asymptomatic virus carriers !

To get the full picture , you would need to read all the misleading misinformation hes been spreading over the last five months.

The internet has fuelled conspiracy theories and the gullbile lap it up.

This - some of his posts are right up there with anything David Icke has come up with.

  4. Yet another game goes by where the headless chicken runs around a lot, running into dead ends, losing the ball etc. I really wish we had a fully fit Djenepo & Boufal available to give him a bit of competition.....or, even better, 2 Armstrong's!

And don't give me "He was POTY last year"....Brexit has already proven the masses are stupid.

  5. Still unsure of the point in getting rid of a RB who was gone in 6 months, to bring in a RB who (as it stands) is gone in 6 months.

Cedric - Wants away....how much effort is he going to be putting in for a team he no longer wants to be a part of.

KWP - Wants to either impress us and get a perm deal, or impress Spurs to take him back, or impress other clubs to get a perm move somewhere.

  6. Did you try calling the services? On any motorway you are never more than 500m or so from an emergency phone. Hop over the barrier, walk to the nearest phone, job done

Initially, I thought I could change the tyre over for the spare....but the wrench that came with the car was of such poor quality that it bent when I tried to loosen the wheel, and eventually snapped! That then resulted in me ringing my breakdown service....it was whilst we were waiting that we noticed the whole motorway had been shut. 15 mins later, Highway Maint. turn up with their rolling road block of saints fans, to tell me my recovery vehicle is on its way.

Recovery vehicle told me to (slowly) drive on my shredded tyre to the next recovery bay about 100m away, where they used their proper wrench to get the wheel off!

  7. I had a blown tyre on the M3 on our way to the semi final at Wembley a couple of seasons ago. Managed to get over to the smart lane, and thats where the fun started...trying to change a rear drivers side tyre, when lorries are flying past you only inches away, is quite the experience!

Eventually, they shut the left hand lane down as they must have seen us risking our lives on CCTV...they then shut the whole of M3 northbound with a rolling road block, so the recovery vehicle could get to me, and get me away safely....

So, if you were held up in traffic getting to Wembley a couple of years ago, it was my cars fault! I did feel bad looking at all the waiting traffic queueing behind the road block, loads of saints fans! Sorry !

  8. Well its going to come to a head soon if he won't sign a new contract.

Will be sold in the summer IMO. Too valuable potentially to let his contract go beyond 12 months to go.

Also, re the fees. They are high, but its the same when we want to sign someone. Decent Championship players are at least £20m these days - so Hojbjerg is probably rightly valued at £35m or so and JWP would be over £50m I think.

Also shows the importance of extending contracts for key players before they reach two years to run.

Or not, in the case of Fraser Forster

  9. Not many signings about generally. Think clubs are wising up to it a bit, going for loans or going with what they have. Too much panic money thrown at things. We got our success by looking at players for the next few years and developing them and need to stick with that.

Guess we'll loan a full back and that'll be about it. Summer we need more at CM, CB, full back and another attacker. But 4 decent signings over the summer while shipping out the deadwood is far more feasible.

The last few summers would suggest otherwise!

  10. Transfermarkt plays him as being able to play lb and rb.

But he broke his tarsal in October.

Maybe we were interested before the bone break and have switched to Bakker? Ill see if my Hamburg colleagues can provide any links.

Maybe we were interested before the bone break? Maybe its one for the summer?
