your fuzzy logic all explains why you enjoy the suck so much.

What is it to be so joyful about a win on the pitch ? All it does is extend SR tenure. The sooner this collapses, the sooner these MOFO will get the f out. How many managers have we seen pass us by since they took over 3 years ago ? 7. The only one that gives a glimmer of hope was not of their own choosing: They put the B team coach Blois in charge in a panic move when your BFF Godin's first choice bailed out. Same pattern at SFC after sacking Still. This tells me that they don't know what they are doing, There first choices always fail years after years, and they just happened to get lucky twice after running out of options. They have zero expertise: They just throw shit at the wall to see what sticks. It's pathetic. Being on Godin's payroll to push his BS out helps you change your tune quite easily doesn't it? Didn't you say on a French forum that you would give SR 3 years before judging them out? but now you give them 11 years. What matters is that your job is safe isn't it ? nothing else matters really. so, yeah fuck SR.

Amazingly, Disaster in Chief Godin keeps his job... Football: a job protection plan initiated at Valenciennes FC, the Serbian owner wants to reduce his investments Valenciennes A job protection plan has been launched at the Valenciennes football club © Maxppp - PHOTOPQR/VOIX DU NORD/MAXPPP Julien Prouvoyeur Published onMonday, March 9, 2026 at 10:03 PM Facebook Whatsapp X, formerly Twitter Mail Copy link The Valenciennes football club is implementing a cost-cutting plan. Valenciennes football club is scaling back its operations. Stuck in the National league since 2024, the third tier of French football, VAFC is currently 10th in the standings as of March 9th, far from its goal of a quick promotion to Ligue 2, despite Valenciennes having one of the three largest budgets in the National league. Serbian owner Dragan Solak and his investment fund "Sport Republic ," which also owns Southampton in England and Göztepe in Turkey, have announced a cost-cutting plan . "Sport Republic" has spent €40 million since taking over the Valenciennes club in July 2023. Around ten jobs are at risk. Valenciennes FC (VAFC) employees were notified in early March that a job protection plan had been initiated. They learned of this cost-cutting plan through a video on social media posted by influencer Romain Molina, who has a large following in the football world. The club's management subsequently confirmed, during a works council meeting, that it would be reducing costs across all departments. The first step will be eliminating positions, as the club employs 130 people, including 25 professional players—a number deemed too high for a club playing in the National league. Around ten job cuts are therefore planned across all departments : ticketing, logistics, medical, administration, and security. Savings are also expected in the first-team coaching staff. 40 million euros invested since 2023 These measures are necessary for the Serbian shareholder because Valenciennes FC (VAFC) is currently living beyond its means, particularly due to its youth academy. This academy, located in Famars at Mont Houy, costs Sport Republic nearly three million euros per year. The rental of the Stade du Hainaut to the Valenciennes metropolitan area, as well as the final payment made to Stéphane Moulin, the coach dismissed last February , were significant factors in the decision to implement this restructuring plan. To these expenses must now be added the upcoming fine for VAFC because the current coach, Pierre Blois, lacks the necessary qualifications to manage in the National league. This fine will amount to €7,500 per match played by the end of March.

Dude, we are in L3! The only ones that stand out are on loan (Takaoka/SFC and El Hadary/Paris FC). All our players under contract have square feet...at best. 500k ? SALE SALE SALE!

It's a shame because he is the lead architect of the debacle.

Coach Moulin getting the boot. Hopefully Godin is next.
-
You really get me worried then.
-
Hope you still remain on SR/Godin's payroll after the layoffs. your constant pro SR/Godin rambling is almost entertaining, sometimes.

Where we learn that VA FC is a cluster fuck with leadership using it has a cash cow. I always knew that Godin, Chorley and co were scam artists. Now I realize that Godin is a crook. SR is a joke in the business and players/agents take advantage of them. What a pity. Godin and all his cronies would get sacked in a sound organization. but this is SR...
-
We have a similar looking table for VA FC: First budget in National, spending like crazy to redo the squad every 6 months and we are sitting 15th in the table. coincidence?
-
Dragan is not a philanthropist, at the end of the day it is just business; He will keep on funding SR as long as he sees return on investment. Right now SR seems to only bleed money with VA FC; it is largely being offset by SFC and Gotzepe. No change in sight I'm afraid.

Hail to SR! SR is the gift that keeps on giving!...to clubs other than Saints 🙃

Looks like the £6m delta helped pay for the "Best CB in the world", Joachim Kayi Sanda (© Ben Chorley April 2024) from VAFC and funding VAFC to stay afloat in National to prevent relegation down to National 2 (hopefully). Thank you SR!

But nobody would talk about you. Hey, my trunk can go a deep and long way.
