  1. What a legend. It makes a huge change from the George Burley who was the biggest pessimist out there. At the end of every game he would always say "we knew it would be a tough season and we have had to sell our best players". In that situation Nigel would focus on the positives and look to improving in the next game. Please don't leave us Nigel.

  2. Just got back. A classic away day that I will not forget. It was almost a complete performance from the Saints. It was a joy to watch us play the ball around so confidently. The support was brilliant from our 6000. Shame about the 10 urinals for every 3000 supporters. That was a joke. Midfield were top class, and the full backs did well linking up with the wingers. I thought Butterfield did much better than the 6 out 10 that someone awarding him on this forum. I couldn't fault his performance. Jack Cork and Deano were 100% committed and timed their challenges perfectly. Well done boys. Reading will be a big test.

  3. He was a passenger, but DeRidder was only slightly better. It has to be Puncheon or Chaplow on Monday.

I agree with this comment. Puncheon is your man. Chaplow was a key player till November, and deserves a chance.

  4. 1. Dellhurst Park

    2. Plymouth 2011

    3. Watford 2-2 JSP scoring both goals and the 92min equaliser. There was one last sign of hope over staying up.

    4. Charlton Away - Can't remember when but it was a win to stand a chance of staying up game.

    5. JTP Final

    6. Reading Away - The year we went down. It was the game when the dutch system actually worked.

    7. Exeter 2-1 last season. We blagged a victory out of nothing.

  5. How many more points would we have if we took advantage of the amount of corners we get ?

Yet we keep doing these stupid short corners. I have been moaning about short corners for 10 years. Get the ball in that space where the keeper doesn't want to come for it. It is really that simple.

  6. The truth is that neither De Ridder or Holmes are good enough for the premier league. If we are aiming for promotion we should be signing players who would make an impact in the premier league. Without our top class players (who were all out) we look like a team who will finish in the bottom half. Chaplow and Adam on the wings is what we need.
