I might stick £100 on top ten or Europa Qualification.

Where would you put your money?

Why on earth would you not put odds on there of us being champions ???

  2. Same here. It feels like I've entered some kind of subconscious no-man's-land where this promotion to the premier league malarkey never actually happened. As you say, it'll be the publication of the fixture list that will be the sinking in moment.

It's a bit like when my first child was born - there was the initial euphoria but then, after things settled down, some weeks later I was driving down the high street and the magnitude of it all just hit me and I burst into tears of joy.

It'll be a happy and emotional day when reality strikes! :-)

Interesting comparison. I remember me and my wife starting trying for a baby in Jan 2005. Heartache for years but she eventually got preggers over 3 years later. Couldnt believe it was happening till I saw her get very large indeed (twins)

  3. Can't you just use an online converter instead. Seems like a lot if hassle doing that way.

Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2

Exactly. keepvid.com offers you a client you can download youtube clips with but it converts online too as long as you've got Java installed/

  4. Because that would be stretching the original video as your upload to youtube cannot be changed. Better just to take it direct from BBC iPLayer at 16:9

Can you download to video file from iPlayer? The reason why it's 4:3 not 16:9 is because I streamed it to my DVD/HD recorder from my Virgin Media box and from this converted it into a avi file and then onto youtube. That DVD/HD recorder is 6 years old and only inputs at 4:3.

  5. Time for me to buy a new one, as I have been happy with the classic Friends Provident one for a few years now

Sure I won't be the only one splashing out

    Just imagine if you were.

  6. Forest at home was a cracking game with a great atmosphere and good opposition who played an open, attacking game. Could have gone either way and neither team really deserved to lose. Great game of football.

Who can forget the injury time of about 6 minutes in which Forest didn't even touch the ball.

  7. Why are so many people anti West Ham?? They're not our promotion rivals any more.

I want Wham to win simply because anything else is blatantly unfair. Saints, Reading and Wham have clearly been the best 3 teams in the league and it's those three that should be up, even if you do hate that baffoon Allardyce. In the same way, it was ridiculously unfair that Hudders didnt go up last season.

Remember Holloway 2 seasons ago having a go at us saying 'were in the premier leagues by right.' Yeah by right coz those are the rules but not by merit. The playoffs make the league more interesting but when some cocky git like Holloway gets up by finishing 6th then lords it up, it really winds me up.

  8. I agree to an extent. Fact is if we got a point at Middlesboro we would have won the league, a point which we at least deserve, and you have to look at the Saints Reading game a few weeks ago. We didnt deserve to lose that. But then you also have to look at the Leeds and Millwall away games which god knows how we won.

At the end of the day, being top only matters in the Prem. In all the other leagues promotion is all that counts.
