  1. if the academy was/is to be our saviour would we not be flying high with the likes of Wolves/Birmingham right now?...

The spin at the start of the season was that Youth was the new dawn and would guide us toward promotion, somehow I think not with the start we have had...

Playing attractive football and losing, would much rather see crap football with points on the board!

If people were blinded by words about promotion then thats their damn fault imo. No right minded person can honestly beleve we were going to get promoted this season??

  2. He's like Kieron Dyer or McMananman was.

All well and good running 22 yards and looking quick. But if you do F*** all with it what, really, is the point?

Both England internationals with Mcmanaman gettin a motm award after winning the Champions League?

Dyer is alot of things but nothing like the two players you have just mentioned

  3. Also there was a time in the first half that james sold himself down the river and just let their left winger ghost past him far too easy. I guess he will learn but from age 5 your taught not to commit yourself????

  4. Nope, managed 17 last year. The thing is with all the walking you actually tend to slightly sober up between each one so it is indeed very possibly & quite easy to do, all IMO ofcourse!

You were battered on 9 pints at footy last? 17 easy to do? I would pay to see that

  5. What I dont understand is why doesnt Capello just say balls to you im going with youth. Our team could be

    Hart

    Onuha

    Richards

    Taylor

    A cole

    Walcott

    Micheal Johnson

    Reo-Coker

    A young

    Ashton

    Agbonlahor

In my opinion the obvious animosity between the fans and players is we are fed up with under achievment and they hate the pressure? A young, hungry team who wont be fazed or paralised by fear would have the complete backing from the public IMO

  6. The Times is fairly nasty about him today

As anyone who has taken on the Herculean task of interviewing him would confirm, it is difficult to feel sorry for Shaun Wright-Phillips, a young man as uncooperative as he is inarticulate, but his plight over the last seven days is deserving of considerable sympathy.

After spending three years counting his money and first-team opportunities on the bench at Chelsea – the former with a children’s calculator and the latter with the fingers of his right-hand – the England midfield player plucked up the courage to return to Manchester City in search of regular football, only for his new club to promptly go out and sign Robinho, the player whose imminent arrival had finally persuaded him to leave Stamford Bridge.

It may take a while, but anyone with a spare couple of hours at Eastlands should sit down and explain to Wright-Phillips the meaning of the word irony.

Looks like Shaun & Bradley are cut from the same cloth!

The common denominator has to be Ian Wright? After BWP was equited the other day all he could say was a premiership team were intrested in Bradley before all this, then the fans boo'd him. What a ******* tosser. No thanks to the club for standing by BWP through all this!!!!

  7. The problem with the England team is deep down I do care, thats why im trying to keep a lim ited intrest, I am fed up with being hurt by that ******* team. Saints I can handle because we are Saints thats what we do. But a team full of players such as England should be performing better than finishing third in a qualification group that contained Andorra and Macedonia
