    At the time of his departure..Blackstock was the (youngest) and FIFTH choice striker at Saints...and the fee was too good to refuse.

    But you can't keep players forever without playing them, and then expect them to come on and be top class in the middle of a

    game on a wet November afternoon. Good for Dex that he 's got a career now, (but I have to say his "goalkeeping " sub appearance

    v. Newcastle (?) in that televised game was almost beyond description..

    (At the time, people praised him for being brave enough to stand on the line, but his performance was atrocious).

     

    Did you expect him to be the next Gordon Banks? He is a centre foward for goodness sake?!

    Could you see Lallana being better in CM?

    I think he could play there.

     

    I suggested it 2 seasons ago when we short of CM due to suspensions/injuries.

     

    You dont have to be a "brute" in the centre of midfield anymore. Modric plays CM and plays there very well.

     

    I think if we did bring in a quality wide player, like Pilkington, AL next to Morgan in CM would be a very successfull partnership.

     

    All IMO of course.

    this deserves its on thread as im sure I wont be the only one having to deal with this situation.

    Take her with me.

    On quiet games so long as you ask nicely the stewards let you in. Otherwise, sorry to be defensive but if yer name ain't down you ain't coming in! Too right - it is a private members club! (shame it can't be a men-only club ;). There's a good crowd that meet in the Dell bar. Good grub too. Beer's still smeg though.

     

    I get your point. Just seems like a good business move to have fans spending money in the club.

    Nike have made hundreds of awesome kits. Arsenal's 1995 kit that saw Bergkamp's debut for a start, and the PSG kit of the same era. Their World Cup shirts of 2002 for various teams are classics already.

     

    Anyway, we have an Umbro deal for another 2 seasons, corporate ownership aside.

     

    I would go along with that. I tend to always like Arsenals away kit.
