  1. it should be a great laugh on the train up from London with ****ney reds (Man United at home to Bolton), West Ham going to Stoke, and Millwall going to Stockport. Perhaps we could arrange to have a quiz for us all to pass the time on the journey?

They should put west ham and millwall fans in the same carrage IMO

  2. Posted on another thread by Saint John:

Radio Solent said this morning that the Saints Fans Forum is on Monday 21st Sept at 19:00 at St Marys.

NO ticket is necessary this year, just turn up.

NC, AP and KD will be present.

    John

p.s. I wonder if the nutter who usually sits in the 2nd row and asks the 1st question about "how wonderful rupert is" will be there this year ?

It says there are 500 tickets available?!

So do you need a ticket or not

  3. No complaints from me, not vastly different from Favourite Worst Nightmare, but still good. Pretty Visitors is class. Had I not been on safari for the past week and a half, I would've been at Reading seeing them :(

I would day the major difference would be that FWN had many more singalong type songs. Teddy picker, Florescent adolecent and Brainstorm for example.

Humbug is by far my favourite album so far of the year. Sorry Maiden!

  4. Humbug is awesome, fact. Best album they've done.

Have to agree. And after watching their Reading set they really have a look of a band who are top of their game. The guy on guitar looks like rob Flynn with that hair though!

  5. Their the only indie band I give the time f day

The second album I got the feelng they were going down a heavier avenue in the future

Teaming up with Josh Homme was a wise move. Humbug has QOTSA written all

    over it

All in all I really like the album

  6. I never said it was.

You do have to ask yourself though, would those later albums have reached number one if it wasn't for their reputation and media profile? You would have to say probably not.

I can think of a number of instances where I have bought an album on the sole basis of having really liked some of the artists' previous work, only to be disappointed with it. Sales figures aren't everything.

Your right bexy. I got into Metallica very late. I bought St Anger despite being told that it was not very good. But I had to buy it as it was Metallica. Still it completes the set even if it just collects dust on the shelf
