    Rudi- we wont get the best out of him

    Went to the match on Tues, and thought that Rudi had a decent first half - (a great couple of crosses), though he tired significantly in the 2nd. Still its hard to dispute the effect he had on the fans and the atmosphere. The place felt genuinely lifted.

     

    That said, I am puzzled with the idea -entertained by fans and GB/JP alike- that he's a left-back. Since Holmes got injured, his position has been crying out for somebody like Rudi (who, after all, has averaged a goal every four games over his carrer). Its hard to say how much the decision to play him out of position has contributed to problems at the club. But it surprises me how many saints fans argue for him to play but dont go and on and argue for him to play in his most effective position. What is the reasoning for having Mills play the more further foward of the two?

     

    I might be wrong here, but I think Rudi's natural position is left back. Put this together with his experience, I think it's safe to say that he has more chance of being effective for us at left back than Mills would be at the moment. I think it's JP's way of trying to sure up the back line and stem the flow of goals.....

     

    I mean I could be talking complete crap ;)

    Football Boots

    That heel bit regularly falls off on predators. I've gone for F50's this year but you can get F30's for around £60 that a really good boots. I recommend them.

     

    Just buy longer blades for the winter and replace the shorter ones in the boot..... thats taking into account that you can actually do that with those boots!!

    I do bitterne to heathrow everyday............. It's ****!!!!!! Done it for 3 years...... won't be doing it for much longer!! I do find its worse when it rains.... A little bit of water and the idiots appear on the road!!

    An Outlook question

    Which version of Outlook?! In 2007 do the following... I would assume its similar for 2003:

     

    Open Outlook

    Go to the Tools Menu

    Select Options

    Select the Mail Format tab

    Click the Stationery and Fonts button

    Click the Font button under the Replying or Forwarding messages section

    Select your Font Colour and click OK all the way out of the options.....

    Have to say I seriously don't rate the lad, 1st goal was a superb cross which to be fair to McGoldrick he positioned himself well but it was a poor header that the keeper nearly kept out. 2nd goal lee Holmes seemed to foul the defender bringing the ball out of the box however he slid in McGoldrick who from the centre of goal with no one near him finished well. His general play was imo very poor or average to say the least. Rasiak would still be my 1st choice but its all about opinions.

     

    I have to disagree Smalls, his movement was very good. He was winning tackles and knocking some great through balls for Llana and the wide boys. As long as he keeps focussed he will only get better. I will admit though, he only started playing better after the first goal so it could be a confidence thing.
