  1. No you are right, they don't. Who said they did?
  2. Is the town really called 'The Mud' in Liverpool? And you two spend all afternoon trying to convince us it was good with photo-shopped pics mainly taken from water 5 miles from the actual city or Mud at sunset.
  3. Yeah Pap meet him down the lane and appologise like a man.
  4. Here you go brett https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/116025/horr68-report.pdf http://www.telegraph.co.uk/expat/before-you-go/10078469/The-expat-boom-turns-into-a-boomerang-as-33pc-end-up-coming-back.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2056167/Revealed-Why-thousands-Britons-emigrated-Australia-returning-home.html I know this is comparing Poms with Poles but people are people and generally end up near where they stared - Dubai Phil aside of course.
  5. Not Liverpool. That's Birmingham. 'Someone' has told her she was in a travelodge. He is just 'cleaning up' and will be back in a minute.
  6. Just behind the foam cut to size shop, down from the burnt out car on the way to lilo Lil's bedsit? Yeah I know it. I'll guide you in Pap, you just be there when Barry finishes football...usual after football time. Meet down the Lane, no strings. Just down the lane.
  7. What I mean Whitey is that the plan was they would go home to retire. I did not have any say in the plan myself. However, although they are more likely to stay if they have kids, having kids here does not necessarily mean they are going to retire here. Of the 1m Brits living in Spain, I bet a fair few of them have kids born in the UK.
  8. This is one area they identified bear, yes.
  9. I think it is the girl you should be apologising to bear. Her opinion on travelodges fell through the ceiling that night.
  10. The Labour government at the time did actively try to bring workers in as the economy was booming and they believed there was a skills shortage in certain areas.
  11. Another good point well made. To be fair I just googled slum and assumed an image of Liverpool would be the top hit. My mistake, bear's 'travelodge' came out top.
  12. That's Liverpool! I can tell by the area code on that Arabic foam cut to size shop. Next - which **** hole was this photo taken in just yesterday? Also which poster convinced a skank that the mattress rejects behind the foam cut to size shop was a 'travelodge'? 1 point for each.
  13. Don't see the connection? Plenty of people with kids and firm roots in the UK **** of to somewhere sunny to retire.
  14. A good point well made Pap.
  15. Oh you are here now. I guess the manager of the cut foam to size shop has gone off for a days whoring and you are allowed back on line? I think it is a bit liberties of the lounge stealing these types of thread though bear. This kind of program is more a muppet show issue or if not the arts.
  16. To be fair, Barry can't be expected to know every foam cut to size shop in Liverpool.
  17. Barry Sanchez has gone off line. Who would have thought that an afternoon trolling up the lounge would produce such interesting results.
  18. Yeah but on the other hand it helps with the pension crisis and the aging population. The real reason the government has invited all people in from the EU is that they are young, eager to work and will in most go home to retire. This helps at least cushion the problem of our aging population reaching retirement age, get us out the **** for a bit and when they get old, they go back to being someone else's problem.
  19. Barry from Birkenhead
  20. Interesting points Barry. I was actually posting the ****hole bear lives in but well defended all the same.
  21. I know dune & Pap, was just trolling. I am sure it is paradise where the beer flows like wine. Don't need to bring out the heavies.
  22. Didn't say they were just that the same defense used by the left on public service workers is now being used by the right and dismissed by the left as a non defense.
  23. You could say that about anyone who works for or takes money from the public sector though Pap.
