  1. Good doctors work in hospitals, bad doctors become GP's. If you ever have ANY doubt about something a GP has said, always get a second opinion ASAP, if you're still in doubt, go to A+E where the real doctors are.

What do you base this sweeping generalisation on? Would you say the hospital Doctor in the Baby P case was a good doctor or someone who made a human error? As someone who works in a hospital and is married to a GP i would say there are good and bad doctors in hospital and communty settings. Most GP's have also worked in various hospitals before becoming GP's btw.

  2. Like I say unrealistic rubbish, but bound to become a cult film among students in the same way crap like the clockwork orange is.

As someone who was growing up at the time the film is set i have to say it was spot on regarding politics/culture/unemployement and racism at the time. Then again i'm not a racist like you Stanley.

  3. It's important to keep the good team spirit that was won two successive promotions. There will be a few players who will be let go but alot of this squad deserve the chance to prove themselves in the top flight. Read a good interview with Paul Lambert recently who talked about his mostly home grown squad doing well in the premier league. Lambert said he wanted to sign players with hunger and something to prove etc. Look at Norwich's team now there are alot of it that played in league 1 as well as two players in Johnson and Howsen who were playing for Leeds in League one not that long ago. Many posters on here said alot of the current squad were not good enough for the championship before this season started and were proved wrong.

  4. It is apartheid through choice. What we've seen with this result (and others that will follow) is conclusive proof that multiculturalism involving muslims has failed. And I single out muslims here because it's wrong to lump the seikhs, hindus, blacks etc in with them because although many of these communities clump together they don't rock the boat like muslim communities do.

Pathetic post from the forum racist.

  5. Wish the club could have a system in place that meant anyone who has not been to an away game since relegation from the Premier league and to the likes of Colchester, Rochdale, Hartlepool, Carlisle, Bristol Rovers etc would not be able to now get tickets for the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal etc. I know other clubs have reward systems for those who travel to Europe and UK Away games.

  6. Pretty much all the Royal Colleges, the BMA, the Family Doctor Association... anyone who's anyone in health circles in this country, are either against this bill, calling for it's withdrawal, or outwardly critical of it.

Bear in mind that GP's are arguably the ones who stand to make money out of this, by taking on additional roles with local consortia groups, and taking possession of the management budgets for said CCG's, yet 98% of the respondants to the RCGP's most recent survey said they were against the bill or wanted it withdrawn.

Well said. I don't know of any GP's who are in favour of these changes.

  7. Those nasty racist parish councillors have voted to fly the union flag all year round. A victory against people like Andy Northern Saints and the black person who complained that we dare to fly our flag.

Pathetic small minded bitter people get left behind in life and are reduced to spending their life trolling on the internet.

  8. Have you Andrew?

I have had plenty of dealings with racists bnp/nf/edl etc over the years dune including being with friends/family/partners while they have been verbally abused/attacked/spat at etc had there homes damaged, forced to move out of areas, find different employment, courses etc due to their race. I have through work seen victims of racist attacks on a regular basis. The type of racist bully boys such as the EDL are all very brave and threatening when in groups but in my experience not so when on their own. It's very sad that Saints appear to have some of thier followers as this club has no history or reputation of racist supporters.

  9. Reading the posts on here it appears that if you are against racism and extreme right wing groups such as the EDL then you must be from a white middle class background and have never lived in a council estate???? Now i would expect that type of rubbish from our resident racist and white power crazy poster dunce but it is a bit sad so many others have joined in with the racism on here. How many of you have been victims of racist attacks? discriminations, being stopped by police driving? had your home petrol bombed? been verbally abused in public when out non white partners/friends/family?

Anyone who thinks the EDL is not racist really is beyond help.

  10. It is a shabby way to treat away fans, but best thing to do is get on with it i suppose, buy them in person at the Brighton or Hull home games or ask them to bring them up and collect at Donny, although that is inconvenience on the away day in case there are any problems.

Have done the waiting for last travel coach to arrive with tickets thing plenty of times. Usually ends up a frustrating day waiting around for ages, sometimes right up to kick off time, being told to go to different collection points, wrong queues, people etc before getting tickets or finding your name is not on list! Totally messes up meeting up with mates for pre match beers and have missed start of games waiting on occassions. No other entertaintment business or sport treats its customers like this.

  11. When I see you Saints, I go out of my head

I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough

All the things you do to me, and all the things you said

I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough

We slip and slide and we fall in love and I just can't seem to get enough of doo doo do do do doo doo..

  12. I can confirm that Donny is indeed a cracking night out. Went on the **** there recently with work colleagues who live nearby.

Locally it's known as Donny Vegas. Folks come from all the smaller towns around Donny for a proper night out, dressed up too. You don't stay in one boozer, it's best to join in the pub crawl up the high street.

Also it was refreshing as a middle aged man not to feel like I was at a youth club, theres a wide range of ages out. Just bear in mind if you pull that Donny has the highest incidence of the clap in the uk.

Defo better night out than Sheffield though.

Sorry to hear about your STD mate ;-) Hope to see you at Donny.

  13. As i said at the time it is a strange appointment. Scotland may lack numbers of quality players to choose from these days but one thing Scotland has never lacked in is great managers and coaches etc for this type of role.

  14. Wolves fans are paying £50 for Chelsea away coming up, Arsenal fans were paying £65 at stamford bridge a couple of weeks ago, ticket proces like that unfortunately put a downer on what should be a really positive thing being promoted

Agree but i expect alot of people will want to go to away games at Arsenal, Man uTD, Chelsea, Liverpool who have not been to an away game since Saints were last in the premier league. Wish there was some sort of system in place that the hardcore away support and season ticket holders/regular home attendees during the last few years could be rewarded for the years of touring the football league grounds by getting tickets to these games.

  15. No way. Celtic and Rangers price their players at top flight prices, failing to recognise the appalling nature of their football. I'd rather sign someone scoring freely in L1 than in the SPL. Hooper would have to be scoring 40-50 a season up there to be worth it, like the only decent strikers they've actually had in Van Hooijdonk and Larsson.

Like i've mentioned to you many times and is evident with anyone who watches SPL on a regular basis the standard is not as poor as you make out on numerous posts. Plenty of players have proved themselves both in the SPL and championship and premier league. Danny Fox for one who not that long ago was playing for Celtic. McCormack at Leeds previously Cardiff, McDonald at Boro, Hutton at Spurs/Villa, Adam at Blackpool/Liverpool, Snodgrass - Leeds, Robson - Boro, Hoolved - Saints, McCarhty - Wigan, Jutkievicz - Coventry, Maloney - Villa and recently sold by Celtic to Wigan for not a top flight price as you mentioned. And if you think those two Celtic players are the only decent strikers they have had then i would have to say you know little about Celtic.
