One up front is asking a hell of a lot of the striker. That’s why it’s such a bad idea.
Do you ever watch any games of football, ever? Clearly not. Or, if you do, you don't actually pay any attention as to how football is played.

How do the club get the tickets from WBA? Do you think they just give them away for free
If anything missing an away game is better as it will actually cost the club money. Probably not WBA though as it’s probably too close and many would have already brought tickets.
I enjoy the fact you did a facepalm on this post, even though you a horribly wrong about the process.

One of the most stupid posts ever on this message board, and there is stiff competition.

Was the other thread about this not good enough for you?

Looking at my son, who had tears streaming down his cheeks as we stood on our seats singing Que Sera Sera, will live with me forever.
& to think that so many sad sacks decided not to go as they said we'd get stuffed.
I'd say part of what made it extra special was so many of our "fans" not bothering to attend because we'd "definitely lose". Was great not to have them attend, ensuring a good atmosphere in the away section.

Ah, the famous Southampton wall of silence. Nothing worse than Swansea away last season. Absolutely terrible.
Not quite sure what it is exactly - but anyone that blames it on the team doesn't get the bit about "supporting"...doesn't matter how crap the team is, just get on with it. Definitely suffer from a lack of songs...the problem is we only have OWTS and player songs. We don't have enough generic Saints songs to sing...they are the ones that will always stick. Although, to make matters worse we invent about 7 songs each for two favourite players and ignore everyone else.
Also, too many morons who would rather get on the back of the team....maybe these fans just feel entitled because they only started coming in League One and never saw a team before that...for much of the 90s were were garbage, but we got behind the team. Even in the Poortvliet/Wotte season the support was better.
I don't think there is much hope of things improving, to be honest.

Confirm co-ordinates for beer in Bath - this is important.
Repeat - confirm co-ordinates for beer in Bath - this is important.
This is important because I like beer.

Mr McSingsong,
Please consult the message on your answerblower.

Wonder why we didn't see Redmond???
Nathan told us afterwards that he tore his hamstring against Poland in U21s, and then still came off bench v Germany and made it worse. He had a session on the pitch with fitness coach after the game and hopes he might be able to play next week.

Hello Mr McSingSong.
Thanks for the message on the old answerblower. I'll try and give you a telecall later on today. Won't be around for the Swans, but should be spending an evening in Bath next week. Will confirm later.

I'd be more than happy to join you but i can't get there direct on a train.
So, for me, with regret, it's a no.
Lots of love,
Keith from the train.
I believe I left a message on your outbound number over the weekend.

Are there any Saints fans in Amman, Jordan? Heading out in a couple of weeks to work for a few months...assume you can watch quite a lot of the games on tv.

Went to first two days of Middlesex game. Abbott bowled very well on first morning for no reward. Was reasonably impressed with Wheal who perhaps needs a touch more control but looks quick and dangerous. Carberry was leaving well. Gutted he didn't make his 100. Much more positive to date.

Certainly not the only one mate. I know many who just don't enjoy it anymore, to the point where I and a few others won't be renewing ST next season (first time in 20 years for me).
IMO a lot of this has to be down to the football we've played this year. I've had a cracking time in Europe however I found myself thinking that the game was the worst part of the trip!
You've undermined your own point somewhat, haven't you.

SISU
in The Saints
No, I don't remember it as you do. Thankfully, a number of our fans weren't utter morons and realised a Hedge Fund owning a football club would be utter stupidity. The "grass is always greener" brigade were larger in number, but certainly not the entire fan base. There's probably an amazing overlap between the pillocks who wanted SISU to take us over and people who endlessly want managers sacked.

I actually prefer it like it is at SMS
Better to surround the away fans with our most vocal fans, rather than least vocal
I've been to away grounds where they have a home 'kop' at the other end of the stadium and it's more often than not too far away to hear/get any sort of atmosphere going with them (Hapoel Beer Sheva being the exception to this rule)
This just shows how pathetic modern football is.

First I will have some beers on the train. Then I will have some beers in a pub that is open early. Then I will have some beers in another pub. Finally, there is a third pub. If we win I will go to the pub, but if we lose I will go to the pub. The aim surely is to have 15 beers before kick off, which rules out The Green Man as you can't get served. Also, it will have people wearing replica kits.
-
Theme should be no colours and a minimum of 6 pints beforehand, but 10 should be the standard. Then standing and shouting/singing Saints songs (not anti-pompey songs).
Anyone who wears team colours/replica shirt should be denied entry.

Think about the question you have asked here. Then look at yourself in the mirror and point at the idiot in the mirror. See the idiot? Yes. It's you, isn't it? Yes. You. An idiot.
-
This x 1000000. Our fans are sh*t.
In a highly predictable way some of our brilliantly f*cking stupid support sung about him being from Italy and hating Pompey.I swear at times we're "blessed" with one of the most cringeworthy support in football. Between the c*nt in the indiana jones hat, the face painted clown who looks like he's on day release from the undateables casting, and our "banter boys" who sing these terrible songs it just makes me wish for the proper support we had at the Dell more and more.

Good boozing in the pub. Landlord ordered us a taxi but it didn't show, so he gave us a lift himself. Fair play. Excellent boozing.
Game: m3h. Saints fans in attendance: embarrassment. Think most thought they were at the rugby and needed to be quiet for the kicker. Everyone who went last night should be embarrassed to have been part of the worst Saints crowd for some years.
-
Everyone can come up with individual reasons as to why they can't go...but the truth is that as a collective effort this is fairly abysmal. How often are we in semi-finals? I think it is particularly odd considering how many we took to Sheff United two years ago. Regardless, this says something about the size of our fan base and what kind of club we are - something rather negative. No reason the club should ever consider taking a larger allocation for any game. I don't think we have even sold out Swansea away yet and we only took just over 1000 tickets for that.
For the people that didn't fancy it because "we were playing badly" - I don't think you know what supporting a football club means. I suggest you don't bother coming again.
-
Voted In because I am not an utter moron.
That's my high quality response to this post. The utter disdain it deserves.

Wouldn't be surprised about the abuse aimed at Redmond and Boufal. Huge %age of our fans are racists.
