@SimonPeach: Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to tie Artur Boruc down to a new deal at #SaintsFC. "I'll be really pleased if he stays here," he told me.
@SimonPeach: "It's clear to me & the club that we're happy with Boruc," Poch said. "But those are negotiations that need to happen between club & player"

An opposition view; looks generally like "it's only Sarf'ampton...", what you'd expect really. They see Ramirez as the danger man (probably just because they were in for him...and bleedin' well should be at £12m!) but one of their's points out that he's heard Saints fans saying "can be great...but usually not". One or two reasonable comments.
But check out 'Post 35' on first page, that's some analysis, their very own MLG!
That is one detailed analysis and pretty much spot on apart from the praise and "attacking quality" that Yoshida shows?

Can definitely see Pochettino matching up Liverpool in this one and going 4-3-3. I'd go with this myself.
Boruc
Clyne
Fonte
Yoshida
Shaw
Cork
Schneiderlin
Lallana
Ramirez
Lambert
Rodriguez

Di Canio is where my money is at. Was at their last game.

No one considering Puncheon? Been right up there with Morgan and Rickie as most consistent and influential this season.
Morgan wins it but Puncheon and Lambert come close also.

Ok....
bigadamsport: Waited ages to speak to Artur Boruc - poor bloke got hauled off for a random drug test #saintsfc

I looked down at the bench and thought we'd appointed AVB before the game!

Anyone found a decent stream out of interest? Surprising as we're only 1 of 2 PL games, that there's a lack of any stream. I can't find a decent one anywhere.
It's either English and rubbish quality/skipping, or Foreign and decentish quality. Socsport has let me down!!!

What's better firstrow or socsportslive?
SocSports is usually very very good quality. First row not usually as good but always has streams.

http://socsportslive.com/pg/22
If it's not on 22, just change the number (our stream is usually between 17-25). That's a site with no popups, downloads or any buffering.
I don't know if the /pg/22 links work anymore. I watched the Norwich v Everton game yesterday on SocSports (very good quality as usual) and every page number I tried loaded an error on the player. Turns out Norwich v Everton was on something like /?sdfreghyt.
If so, this could be one hell of a guessing game come 1:25pm today!
And also yesterday it used Silverlight and not flash. Loaded much faster and didn't buffer throughout.
EDIT: Wiziwig says there are 14 stations so I'd be pretty confident at least one of them is a SocSports stream.

Only 4 subs?
De Ridder would've been in there. Same with Lee so that's 2. Reeves as well. Don't forget Forte and Barnard may have also been involved depending on number of over 21s.

According to this article and the head of operations for FC Tokyo, they are in talks to sign Lee from us. For me, it would be no real loss. Didn't really impress me when he came initially, just did a lot of running and has only scored the 2 goals since he's been here. Fair enough he's been injured but Sharp had a better goal record (goals:games ratio).
And an editor for Kick Off Asia (their main football magazine) tweeted last night:
JohnnyDuerden: Talk in Japan that Tadanari Lee will leave Southampton for FC Tokyo. Needs to go somewhere to get some playing time

As the title says.
We failed with a club record bid of £15.25m for Abdelaziz Barrada late on in January window. Been linked with Man City in past.

To be fair, the corner was too lofty but Fox made it so obvious that he was going to be striking it. When Utd used to do it with Scholes, it was so subtle and not until the ball was nearly half way in mid flight did he start to shape up. Fox however was ready to hit it before it was even taken!

Jos was puffing out of his arse yesterday come 65 minutes. How he found the energy to keep going for the remaining 25 minutes only God knows! He was top drawer to be fair to him. Won everything in the air, was doing very well on the floor as well.
He would be my choice for replacement however when Forren comes in. Forren and Yoshida could be a very shrewd, yet top quality centre back pairing. Forren is apparently very good on the ground and Yoshida wins a hell of a lot of headers considering his size. I feel they could potentially be one of the best centre back pairings we've had in a long long time.

According to the Mirror, JWP is going on loan to Coventry to get experience.
Would this be a good move or is he better off being here as he is currently on the fringes again?

i dont mean why luke shaw, i mean why does this bloke supposedly know the starting lineup
Don't question it, just read it and take it in. It's the truth. He's our mole inside the camp.

At least the Norwich fans are enjoying themselves.

Barnard to Oldham on loan

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko
Bolton winger target plays in Prem. Your boss has wrongfooted rivals on this one. So let him see it through. Good option to have.

Basically, there isn't one.
From the Bolton News
8:14pm
"OK - exclusive time! Wanderers have signed a winger on loan - Steven de Ridder from Southampton. One month at first, I understand."

TomCoull: Went to log in to the @SouthamptonFC twitter account. Totally typed @OfficialSaints three times before realising. #GoToBedTom

Looks like Adkins may be in charge of Reading by the time we get there
