  1. @SimonPeach: Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to tie Artur Boruc down to a new deal at #SaintsFC. "I'll be really pleased if he stays here," he told me.

@SimonPeach: "It's clear to me & the club that we're happy with Boruc," Poch said. "But those are negotiations that need to happen between club & player"

An opposition view; looks generally like "it's only Sarf'ampton...", what you'd expect really. They see Ramirez as the danger man (probably just because they were in for him...and bleedin' well should be at £12m!) but one of their's points out that he's heard Saints fans saying "can be great...but usually not". One or two reasonable comments.

But check out 'Post 35' on first page, that's some analysis, their very own MLG!

That is one detailed analysis and pretty much spot on apart from the praise and "attacking quality" that Yoshida shows?

If it's not on 22, just change the number (our stream is usually between 17-25). That's a site with no popups, downloads or any buffering.

I don't know if the /pg/22 links work anymore. I watched the Norwich v Everton game yesterday on SocSports (very good quality as usual) and every page number I tried loaded an error on the player. Turns out Norwich v Everton was on something like /?sdfreghyt.

If so, this could be one hell of a guessing game come 1:25pm today!

And also yesterday it used Silverlight and not flash. Loaded much faster and didn't buffer throughout.

EDIT: Wiziwig says there are 14 stations so I'd be pretty confident at least one of them is a SocSports stream.

According to this article and the head of operations for FC Tokyo, they are in talks to sign Lee from us. For me, it would be no real loss. Didn't really impress me when he came initially, just did a lot of running and has only scored the 2 goals since he's been here. Fair enough he's been injured but Sharp had a better goal record (goals:games ratio).

And an editor for Kick Off Asia (their main football magazine) tweeted last night:

JohnnyDuerden: Talk in Japan that Tadanari Lee will leave Southampton for FC Tokyo. Needs to go somewhere to get some playing time

  5. To be fair, the corner was too lofty but Fox made it so obvious that he was going to be striking it. When Utd used to do it with Scholes, it was so subtle and not until the ball was nearly half way in mid flight did he start to shape up. Fox however was ready to hit it before it was even taken!

  6. Jos was puffing out of his arse yesterday come 65 minutes. How he found the energy to keep going for the remaining 25 minutes only God knows! He was top drawer to be fair to him. Won everything in the air, was doing very well on the floor as well.

He would be my choice for replacement however when Forren comes in. Forren and Yoshida could be a very shrewd, yet top quality centre back pairing. Forren is apparently very good on the ground and Yoshida wins a hell of a lot of headers considering his size. I feel they could potentially be one of the best centre back pairings we've had in a long long time.

Bolton winger target plays in Prem. Your boss has wrongfooted rivals on this one. So let him see it through. Good option to have.

    Basically, there isn't one.

    From the Bolton News

    8:14pm

"OK - exclusive time! Wanderers have signed a winger on loan - Steven de Ridder from Southampton. One month at first, I understand."
