Crystal Palace have just done something similar ( kind of ) and have moved all there ‘ultras’ from the corner to behind the goal.

What they didn’t do is consult the season ticket holders behind the goal and just told them that all 400 are moving and deal with it.

I think it would be a good idea and help improve what is a really poor atmosphere . Easy for me to say though when I wouldn’t be one of the ones who would potentially be asked to give up their ST seat, that they have had since the ground opened or something.

Though saying that. They don’t actually own that seat so to speak.

It's been suggested that they're happier with the new manager having initially wanted out, but they are following the VVD saga closely and will not be happy if he gets his way.

Pretty much what I heard. Club in a situation that if vvd leaves, they would potentially force moves...

Must be said though, that they are much happier than they were last season under puel..

Or another possibility is that we'll hold onto VVD until late in the window to limit the time Cedric and Bertrand have to make their exits.

 

But if they're going to be angling for a move at some stage it suggests Summer 2018 is likely to be on a par with 2014, also after a World Cup, with several looking to exit at the same time.

 

The Eric Black bit is the polarised opposite of what was supposed to be 'coming out of the club' last year though.

If we gave in and sold him towards the end of the window though, we'd potentially have 2 very unhappy first team players causing a bad atmosphere in the dressing room. I honestly don't think he will go this window.

Next summer does worry me a bit, but let's cross that bridge when we come to it.

The Eric black stuff surprised me massively as wel. Black has a bad reputation for some reason, amongst fans over here ( my self included ).

The question asked was 'Sammy lee or Eric Black.' and they said Eric Black definitely. Didn't go into to much detail, but he's really tight with a lot of the squad and senior players in the team especially, and a '****ing good coach' to quote.

If I remember rightly, when this was filmed back in May, he was in Dubai.
