Unfortunately when a side makes a tactical change Ralph doesn’t have the ability to understand what to do. First time I’ve really started to question his managerial ability

It wasn’t even a tactical change - Burn was injured

  2. That is ****ing cruel. 3 points and we’d have gone above Huddersfield and virtually been safe. Now we’re back under pressure against Swansea. All or nothing.

I’d have been happy with a point before the game too, but not like that...

We would have been “virtually safe”. Lose to Swansea and we would still be in the ****. Nothing has changed - we need to beat Swansea regardless of the equsliser.

  3. ....and appointing the worst manager I have ever seen and leaving him there until 8 games to go.

We have had worse managers than Pellegrino in the not too distant past......not that it is any consolation now.

  4. Yes but certain fans on here will blame Ryan for being an average captain, rather than let any blame be levelled at those that have weakened the teamsheet to line pockets.

I don't think anything has been done to "line pockets". It is not worth arguing the impracticalities of trying to extract money from the coffers into "pockets" - at least not legally. It has just been very poor recruitment over the last 12 or so months - which, if anything, is worse than lining pockets because it is indicative of incompetence.

  5. So a team that gave us a 21 point start is now ahead of us. Miracle now required.

How to you work out that they gave us a 21 point start? Surely that would have only been true if we'd won our first 7 games.

    Still dreadful though - granted.

  6. WTF?! On what planet are Tony Pulis and possession football the same thing?

Pulis is a dinosaur. A good old fasioned, play it out wide to Jermaine Pennant and stick it in the mixer with the big men, kind of manager.

Of course we have lots of possession. We're a team who, from our own corner, somehow ends up passing it back to Forster. It's the most uninspiring, risk adverse, dull possession football you could hope to imagine. When Redmond gets the ball on the edge of their third, plays it square to Romeu, then back to Bertrand, then back across to Yoshida, then back to the keeper, you're always going to get loads of possession.

I think you misunderstood his Pulis point ergo we *didn't* play like a Pulis team from August to May.
  7. I don't rate Puel. I think the man tactically is weak. He has the charisma of a wet fart. This man couldn't inspire a Eskimo to get out of bed on a heatwave let alone get a football team to kick on.

It's not rocket science most the players look disinterested / annoyed forced to play dull football.

For me I would sack Puel and either get Ranieri or Howe

Who would you get and why?

    Ranieri?? :D

  8. Anybody have an update on the extent of his injury? A long term one is the last thing we need.

I think he felt much better the moment he left the pitch tbh
