  1. PLP was back up today and I'm still fine on it.

Yep, I'm so glad that the one day it was down seems like only a blip.

PLP has easily the best streams I've ever watched. Perfect picture, and never stutters or stalls for me (SportsnationHD does for me).

I also love the possibility to flick between 4 different games immediately at the click of a button, for when Saints aren't playing.

Really hope I never get that "sneaky user" email!

  2. Anyone had any progress with premierleaguepass?

Nope. And everything I've tried instead is absolute ****e... been spoiled by premierleaguepass.

I even paid for sportsebooks and saintsfcstreams as suggested on this thread, and both are laggy, pausing crap. And I have the fastest internet in the world (South Korea).

  3. Ronald Koeman's pre-QPR press conference

    - We need players who decide to do the right pressing at the right time, not all the time

    - Pressing starts with the attackers, and sometimes it is difficult for them

    - They have to get back and do aggressive pressing

    - It's a team quality

    - It's my philosophy

    - I'm not a coach who waits and defends

    - It's impossible to press for 90 minutes

    - We do sessions on how to wait for the right moment

    - That needs time and sometimes we did that against Arsenal and sometimes not

    - Against Arsenal, there was too much space between the midfield and the defence at time due to pressing

    - But it needs time, I am happy with the pressing of the players so far

    - The biggest focus was pressing, so far

    - It was the biggest change I made in pre-season

    - It's always difficult when you play three times in a week to get those sessions in

    - But we have to learn to press properly

This stuff about pressing is interesting to me. Is Koeman suggesting that the players didn't know how to press properly? That Poch had introduced pressing, but perhaps in quite a one-dimensional way that would tire our players out, and now Koeman is trying to re-teach them in a more economical, subtle, intelligent fashion.

Or perhaps its nothing of the sort and its just the new players that weren't here under Poch that need to be taught how to press with the others?

  4. Have just received my "Dear Potentially Sneaky User" E-mail from PLP. Swines. Am going to look more into the NBC option ASAP.

Argh! Bad luck :-( Still haven't got mine, luckily. Maybe it's because I'm in South Korea and they're looking for people using it from the UK?

  5. They wouldn't have to sell THEIR login rights, they'd have to make an email address for you via their ISP and you could use that. You'd get your own login and password, separate from the person who provided it to you. I'm fairly certain the app and website would block non-US IPs though. I tried watching on my mobile whilst in London last season and it never loaded, that was on my normal US phone/SIM card, etc.

I provided a login for my mate who now has the privilege of watching his beloved magpies get beat every Saturday/Sunday.

Send me a case of Seafarers and I can make a login for you. You'd just need to figure out an IP block/changer mechanism. :)

I've just remembered that I have a bank account/debit card from a US bank, I set it up as a joint account after getting married (my wife's from the US), but have never used it.

With that card alone could I get an NBC online subscription... and then use an IP changing service to watch outside of the US? Is it as simple as that do you think? I might have to look for alternatives in case PremierLeaguePass realise I'm not in New Zealand.

  6. I agree i wasnt fussed on the Sky Sports 1 HD stream but i private messaged the admin and he said the streamer was setting up and it then the quality changed to 5 times as better

Thats what i like as well the admin do more on there than other sites i have visited in the past

Hi saintsladthrough! Gad to see you're sticking around here :-) What did you think of the Saints game at the weekend?

  7. I'm still with PremierLeaguePass (New Zealand) and the picture quality is amazing. I love being able to have a split screen and skip between up to 4 games at the same time when there's more than one team playing (except when a Saints game is on, obviously).

  8. No it isn't. The official on the line is in the best place in the stadium and is always level with the second-last defender. The TV angle is very rarely perpendicular to the line and is not detailed enough to see every part of the players' bodies.

I'm surprised you're using the Internet with that kind of antiquated attitude.

  9. Ridiculous he's not been called up yet, but I'm sure if Liverpool were to realise that Johson is shît and buy Clyne for £20m he'd be straight in the England starting lineup...

You'd hope that Liverpool realise now that Manquillo and Moreno are better options than Johnson, and that they won't come knocking for Clyne any time soon.

  10. I need to send an email to the press or public relations office of the BPL, the FA, and the Leicester football club. Perhaps it is just my American unfamiliarity with traditional English Websites, but I simply cannot find the appropriate contact information. Can anyone help me?

    Thank you in advance.

I have no idea, but you'll probably get more luck posting such questions on a more general football discussion board - /r/soccer at Reddit is my favourite, but there are others out there.

  11. We're not going to play Schneiderlin, Cork and Wanyama.

Agreed. Certainly not at home against a team we should be attacking and beating in a fairly routine manner. A max of two of those players for almost any game, I'd say. And in many home games, only one should feature... Schneiderlin.

  12. Can't imagine Cork will start, and we are a much more attacking threat with an attacking midfielder in there instead of Wanyama - his inclusion at the expense of a more attacking player was the problem with creativity against West Brom. Alderweireld will almost certainly start, but it remains to be seen if he plays left centre back instead of Yoshida or his usual position of RCB... instead of Fonte. You'd also expect Gardos might start to feature soon - or not at all.

Forster; Clyne, Alderweireld, Fonte/Yoshida/Gardos, Bertrand; Schneiderlin; Davis, Ward-Prowse; Tadic, Pelle, Long

Subs: Boruc (I hope); 2 from Fonte/Yoshida/Gardos, Cork, Wanyama, Reed/Mayuka/Gallagher, Mane

Feels weird not being able to plug in Gaston on the bench "just in case".

Personally, I think the problem with creativity against West Brom was not specifically down to Wanyama. It was more to do with playing all four of Wanyama, Schneiderlin, JWP and Davis. In my view only 3 of these players can be selected to have balance/enough going forward. I would include Cork in that list... so it is 3 from 5. For me, the only one that has to start out of all of them is Schneiderlin. That leaves 2 from 4 of the others, which Koeman can select depending on the opposition.

That said, I'd expect Koeman to go with your midfield 3 for this game.

  13. A lot of people are posting line-ups that are far too attacking for most games... I don't think Koeman would go with a line up that includes Pelle, Long, Mane and Long/Rodriguez. That would be like going back to the attacking 4-3-3 that Adkins was failing with in the early days back in the Prem... not enough balance.

It'll be 3 attacking players at most I'd say, usually including Pelle and Tadic, with the 3rd being selected from Mane, Long & Rodriguez. Of course, it's possible that for some games Long or Rodriguez may replace Pelle in the central striker role. And perhaps you might get the odd game without Tadic and Mane taking on that role.

That said, I also think some of the 3-5-2 line-ups posted are too defensive. By adding an extra central defender, I really think you then don't need both of Schneiderlin and Wanyama... seems like overkill. I can't see Schneiderlin getting dropped, so it would probably be Wanyama missing out, or perhaps even occasionally moving to play in the 3 at the back.

Also don't see Fonte, as captain and a solid performer, being dropped. In a 4-4-2, someone out of him and Alderweireld will have to play as left sided CB. They're professionals so will have to adapt to what isn't a massive positional change. I see Lovren switched from the left to the right for Liverpool against Spurs, and if a **** like him can do it...

  14. Says the right things, but seems like he's been brought up the right way. Obviously has huge respect for Koeman and has clearly been told (IMO) that he will be first choice alongside Fonte.

    Will be huge for us.

Gardos isn't half bad either! So we're a hell of a lot stronger depth wise at CB than we were last year, and about £14m better off. Huge credit to the club.

Does anyone think that with 4 decent CBs Koeman might sometimes go for the 3-5-2 he used at Feyenoord? I think we now have the players to do it well (better than Man U, at least)...

    -----------------------Forster--------------------

    ------Alderweireld----Fonte----Gardos---------

    ---Clyne---Schneiderlin---JWP---Bertrand-----

    --------------------Tadic-------------------------

    ------------Mane------------Pelle----------------

Boruc (if he stays?), Yoshida, Targett, Cork, Wanyama, Davis, Long

A decent looking subs bench too (would look better with Ramirez, granted). Obviously Wanyama, Cork and Davis would all be challenging JWP for his place. And Long challenging Mane and Pelle up front.

I'm not sure I'm super keen on it as it seems a waste not to be able to fit one extra of Wanyama, Cork or Davis in the team. But wouldn't be surprised if Koeman tried to introduce something like this for the odd game at least.

  15. Great win, it seems like forever since we got a result we deserved at West Ham.

Funny thing about Morgan... to me, it doesn't seem like he cares so much about Saints these days, and I think it shows in his all round/defensive game, with some errors and half-hearted challenges creeping into his game. However, at the same time, I think by being less passionate about the team he plays for, his attacking game has improved, he seems a lot freer and willing to take chances in a way that he didn't before. Or perhaps that's Koeman's influence and I'm reading the wrong things into this entirely?

  16. No i didnt specifically come to the forum for just that as it goes i came as this site was recommended to everyone on SportsNationHD by there admin for Saints fans so thats how i actually found the site by those telling people about this site, So don't have a go please as there is no point, Im only allowed three comments per day *****il i buy a subscription on tuesday for this site) So i make the most and try to help rather than waste my allowence of posts thats all, as Goatboy said its not a big deal.

Yes mate it is good value for money you only have to take a look at there free stream to see the quality of there premium or elite stream whatever its called so in my opinion yes it is and everyone seems happy with it so i hope ive helped ya.

What did you think of the game today SaintsLad? Worth buying that subscription here yet, to discuss it more? ;-)

I'm still using PLP buy the way, working fantastic, hope I don't get banned like some others have.
