Barely missed more than five home games a season since the mid/late 80s, season ticket since the late 90s and do about 15 aways a season and I’m seriously debating if I’m done with it.

 

Weirdly going down might mean I’m actually more likely to renew, as I’ve realised it’s the premier league that I hate the most.

 

The money in the top flight has ruined the game completely. It’s impossible to compete. Real supporters take a back seat to tourists, games are constantly moved for tv, atmospheres almost everywhere are diabolical, the media rub their hands with glee at anyone but the big six being torn apart, talk of winter breaks and players that are so disconnected from us and reality that I may as well just be watching a soap opera.

 

Honestly what’s the point? If we stay up those things will only get worse, the top flight has stripped the soul from the game and I’m not sure I can be bothered with it anymore.

The Globe in Bakers Street is Utd only. The Metrooolitan is Saints and it is rammed!

Watched the game on my iPad in the bar of a hotel just outside San Francisco.

Seriously nerve wracking 90 mins, then went apesh!t when we scored. The few lunchtime residents in the bar gave me some pretty strange looks. Thought we we excellent throughout the team.

Both my lads at the game too, proud of the noise our support made.

Gatwick to Linate - Weds at 13:15 arr 16:05 - then beers!

Malpensa to Gatwick - Friday at 07:35 arr 08:25 - back to reality.

This isn't right - we had agreed everything with them including providing credit card details for payment and it was put on hold at the 11th hour. Particularly worrying as we now have flights and hotels booked but not yet tickets...

OMG Just got off the phone from Inter Milan Corporate Hospitality. I have been talking to them about costs but they were still awaiting confirmation from the club and still dotn expect confirmation about Uk fans until next week. Anyway forgive my rambling (just setting the scene)!! but she said if you don't want the expense of corp then Milan are looking to release additional tickets for saints fans. Obviously I was shocked and asked her to expand and she said " we have had hundreds of calls from saints fans and the club have decided to open an tier (think she said tier 2 & 3 ) for saints fans that would be available through their website. She said that they were very aware that 5k were not enough and they are talking about releasing another 4k tickets.

 

I obviously asked if this was for definite and not just being spoken about and she said she had had an official email today from the club. She said it was likely to be sorted after the weekend and on their website not through saints.

 

No bull****, feel free to call the club and enquire but it looks like anyone who wants a ticket can get one. (spoke with Stephanie in corp ho dept)

I have also been trying to arrange hospitality tickets and have been told something similar by the Italian agent. They have stopped selling the hospitality tickets temporarily as UEFA, Saints and Inter are in discussions over a larger allocation. To be honest I was a little sceptical, but sounds as though it could be true.

........and those who are even lower down on the list will be housed in a B&B in Derby Road.........

Just heard on the BBC that it looks like the suspicious package was left in place by Manchester United's own security people after a training exercise.

 

How the hell can that happen with out someone saying 'hang on, I know what that is'.

 

I know security and people's safety is paramount but surely there has to be some consequences for the club for messing up so much and causing the game to be postponed. Imagine how the Bournemouth fans feel having coughed up the cash to get there and back today.

39 years ago today, the whole street crowded into a neighbours house because they had a colour TV. My friend put his lucky rosette on the top if the telly in the 80th minute, 3 minutes later absolute carnage!

I still remember the musical car horns blaring out all evening.

I was 9 years old but my memories are vivid!!

My advice for Alcatraz is to go early. Maybe even try to get the first Ferry, it can get very busy later.

Dependent on his comeback performance, there's a risk Turks might get demoted to number 5. Which would be sad.

I was also brought up near Coxford and in my opinion your 'Ar*sehole' is too high. it should be between 'T*sser' and 'Tw*t'
