    Live Saints related podcasts this weekend

    Hey guys,

     

    I'm organising a charity podcast festival in town this weekend, SuperPod 2020, and there's a couple of Saints related shows you may be interested in.

     

    Saturday is headlined by the Football Book Club, one of Esquire's podcasts to listen to in 2020. The team will be dissecting the autobiography of a former Saints player. And then Sunday is headlined by Life Goals with Theo Delaney, which is like Desert Island Discs but where the guest chooses their 8 most memorable goals. The guest for that show is The Athletic's Saints reporter Carl Anka.

     

    Tickets for the headline sets are available at superpod.co.uk/tickets & all proceeds go to Sport Relief. Use code GAMEON to get evening tickets for just £6, which includes the headline shows mentioned as well as support acts.

     

    There's also free shows during the day, so feel free to pop in and check us out on the way to the game on Saturday. :)

    Maya Yoshida the rock star

    Currently on hols in Japan and Maya is in everything over here!

     

    Every Japanese World Cup promo poster, TV show or product label has about 5 players on and he's always one of them. Seen him interviewed a bunch of times in the last two weeks too.

     

    He's a good player and is highly regarded over here, and it's a shame more people back home don't think so. Should definitely keep him this summer, think he will get more game time under Koeman.

    My wife's from Cambridge and her old man in a Spurs fan, so naturally she had no interest in football when we met.

     

    Got her into football by playing Pro Evo with me, as Barca. Then watching Barca CL games on TV. Then eventually to St Marys, a cup game against Luton on a freezing weekday evening.

     

    Took a few games but now she's officially a fan. And she's never seen us lose a league game at home!

    New Home Shirt - do you like it?

    So this is what the new home shirt will look like...

    What do you think? Do you like it? If not, will you still buy it anyway?

     

    What I think is;

     

    * Someone bought a standard Adidas shirt

    * They then took a photo of it

    * And they photoshopped on the rest

     

    The saints crest is clearly wonky, the sides have clearly been coloured in and the sponsor is creased? That doesn't happen, just look at the Blackthorn logo on the Bristol shirt.

     

    I'm not saying this isn't the final design, but this definitely isn't real.

    Hey everyone,

     

    I want to ask you a MASSIVE favour. Don’t worry, it won’t take much of your time and won’t cost you a penny!

    Notice the reporter (an old school bud of mine) says his source is someone "close to the club" not someone from the club. For all we know the club are feeding bull info to people to see if they blab to the press? Or the source is simply stiring up crap as everyone "close to the club" seem to do.
