Living in a time when the IRA represented the only(known) terrorist threat, although, invariably, they were quite polite in letting you know they had planted a bomb(sometimes, even though they hadn't) I feel those that are known to support a particular cause or are guilty by association should accept the fact that they are on the radar and either cease with 'activities' or face arrest and swallow the consequence without calling foul

Legally speaking theyd have to be breaking the law. I could say i support the PLO (terror organisation) and this might been deemed acceptable by some given many think it's a cause that is honourable i.e people wanting their homeland back, but in Israel i dare say you be locked up for being a PLO supporter. Hyperthetically and i'm obviously not a supporter, couyld i support al queda publicly and be withing the UK Law, or would holding a street market to raise funds for them only cross the line?

stu are you in agreement that doing it ocasionally if fine just not all the time. i hate musical instruments and super fans that portray themselves as piecs of club furniture. the second point is irrelevent to the thread but its all part of the musical band fan type clubs culture, we aint one of these clubs anfd although i find footied violence daft - much prefer to have a laugh and gert on with people from other areas as its fun, if theres one job a firm if we have one should be doing is making sure we dont become a joke club like pompey, best fans my arse any cubnt can make noise to a monotonous boom boom boom pf a primitive drum.

and when i say a few lads make sure the insessant drumming stops i'm not talking violence, if theyre big enough or built like a terrier (usually the hardest people as they don't give up) then just a chat and a little education would do.

Well DM was right then, because Swindon executed their game plan brilliantly, they gave us no time on the ball and made sure the game was played down the middle and not out in the wide areas.

 

Sure, we could have done alot better tonight - but swindon did a good job on us.

anf ultimately if you play alright but you see another team play well and beat you you come away feeling rotten , but at least you don't feel agrived. clubs like swindon desrve their sucess like we did when we fought against the odds during rthe top flight dauys
