I take you view of me being biased, seeing positive etc as a complement. I do same with my kids, support, see positive, enjoy, encourage, not assume the worst.

 

You should be pleasantly surprised, not much more than year ago you were saying "why the f%&k have we signed Rodriguez" now you seeing him play for England, Scheiderlin doing ok for fancy lightweight, Lovren doing ok for the signing of amateur corner shop summer transfer policy.

To be fair, for vast swathes of last season he wasn't anywhere near this season's heights. It's easy to be wise after the effect, but to not recognise that his performances this season have stepped up by a huge degree would simply be daft.

He has improved tremendously this season but he was always PL quality. He's CL quality now. Englands best performer of the season alongside Sturridge. Huge player for the world cup which is crazy to say.

Remember when people on here last spring thought he wasn't PL quality. LOL.

We have no one else. Gallagher is nowhere near good enough at present.

Agree with this Gallagher is not quite ready yet. Feel very sorry for SRL as he is 32 and playing every game and has no one else to help him in that position. He must feel a great amount of pressure being the only lone striker with only an inexperienced CF behind him. Our main priority in the summer (as well as keeping our players) is bringing in a forward to help SRL in the CF position.

I doubt Cork will play.

We desparately need another striker. Feel sorry for Lambert who has really no back up as the lone striker. The mess up was Osvaldo who would have been our number one striker with Lambert taking the back seat. Age is sadly catching up with Rickie and it is unfair to expect him to produce 90 mins a week.

To say he has been poor for months is nonsense too. JRod has hardly been anything special the last few games.

This is a who can out score the other game. Think they'll edge it in a 3-2 thriller or we'll pinch a point at 3-3.

IMHO Smalling is a poor right back. He gives you nothing at all going forward and isn't anything special defensively.

Norwich missed loads of absolute sitters in their game at Upton so am confident we will have our share of chances.

He is a professional referee and won't let what happened impair his judgement. I'm sure he will want a non-controversial game. He always strikes me as a celebrity referee who loves the spotlight. Not my favourite ref by any means.

Who knows maybe we will get a 93rd minute penalty for a handball. Doubt it though.

Think this world cup will come to soon for Shaw. Lallana should definitely go and Lambert as an option and because Carroll has barely played this season.

Lambert is getting on and his form is changeable but the comments on this thread are a joke. Did someone say 11 goals and 9 assists this season?

Where the club messed up was signing some nonce Italian hot head who has bailed and left us with Lambert and Gallagher as our only CFs. Otherwise we would rotate Lambert to keep him fitter.

The guy is a legend and continues to score goals and assist goals despite people calling him crap. Same people who probably think Carroll is a world beater. Mugs.

That was an insult to the fans and the players and manager shluld be ashamed of themselves.
