  1. The way he looks, the way he sounds and the words he utters make me feel embarrassed. Not nice of me to say that but that is the feeling he creates in me. Sick of his corporate bullsheet. I would love a plain speaking chairman that says things how they are, informs the fans of what is going on, fights fires created by the press and generally let's the fans know that someone at the club gives a sh*t. Ralph fails to deliver any of that.

  2. My daughter had them when she was little. As you say, pretty scary stuff. She would sit up in bed, eyes wide open, watching something in the room but she couldn't see me or her mum. She would be in utter terror. All we could do was hug her and tell her she was safe. Eventually she would come back to her senses and then, weirdly, she would always need a very long pee!! Made us wonder if there was any connection.

She never remembered a thing next morning either. She also had imaginary friends and sometimes heard voices too which was a bit spooky.

Out of my three kids she was the only one to go through it. We had about two years of it on and off but she eventually grew out of it luckily.

I know it is worrying and disturbing but just stick with it, it will pass, it is pretty common.

  3. So Les Reed goes...who replaces him? Who advises the new owners on who to appoint in his place? Do the owners know a whole lot about football? We do need to consider the possibilities of what happens after Reed's departure.

I look at the new owners of Birmingham City who got shot of Gary Rowett (sitting just outside of the play-off position at the time) and replaced him with Zola. A disaster. They now reside at the bottom of the Championship. A clueless bunch of owners with zero clue about football, which could be remarkably similar to ours.

Yes, maybe Reed should go (I don't know) but I would love to know what footballing brains will be advising our new owners on a new improved director of football. Any ideas???

  4. Would this be the same "Secret Footballer" who stated in 2015, Morgan Schneiderlin to Arsenal was a done deal?

Think the bloke is talking b*llocks. If a kid has talent and the club feel he's right for the academy I can't believe the colour of his skin would make the slightest difference to the position he plays. Can just imagine Les Reed saying " Woah, he's f*ckin dynamite but he's black therefore Arsenal won't buy him."

    Codswallop.

  5. I think Les Reed will have been singing this;

    Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang

    Do-lang, do-lang

    He's Sofiane

    Wish he were mine

    That handsome boy over there

The one with the short wavy hair

I don't know how I'm gonna do it

But I'm gonna make him mine

He's the envy of all the clubs

It's just a matter of time

    He's a soft spoken guy

    Also seems kinda shy

    Makes me wonder if I

Should even give him a try

But then I know he can score

    He can score away forever

And I'm gonna make him mine

    If it takes me forever

    He's Sofiane

    Gotta be mine

    Sooner or later

    I hope it's not later

    We gotta get together

    The sooner the better

    I just can't wait, I just can't wait

To be held in his arms (oooer missus)

  6. Thought we were going to stroll it after our bright first 15/20 minutes but then it all turned sour. Confidence seemed to drain from the players and they looked a shadow of what they showed early on. Yeah, for a large period we looked dog****e, utterly terrible. But this wasn't some new occurrence, some new experience that only the hapless Claude Puel could serve up! There were plenty of games last season, the first half and around Xmas specifically, where we were toothless, clueless, and looked dog****e, and that's with all the "irreplaceable" players that we've lost since. It's nothing new. Koeman served up some inept performances too, but of course we finished strongly so all is forgiven and forgotten. I'm not exactly filled with confidence with Puel but I'm prepared to give him a few more games before writing him off. Once the "window mercato" closes and we've got all transfers done then we'll see where we are going.
