gonzo Posted 5 August, 2009 Share Posted 5 August, 2009 The disc being in the drive makes no difference at all. It's there purely to validate that you actually own a genuine copy of the game. That said, I don't have steam installed, and I don't need to have the disc in the drive to play it. It'll start up without it, as I found out the other day.
