Significant sum of money raised at their annual dinner at St Marys last night.
I dont think the majority of Saints fans fully appreciate what the organisation does to help people in need, mainly within the more challenging areas of central Southampton.
It was pleasing to see that Leo Scienza, Oriole Romeu and Cam Bragg (a future captain of the team?) were in attendance with Leo bidding for a couple of items in the auction.
Leo seems to be fully integrated within the club and it will be a shame when he is sold.
Also notable that Katarina Liebherr was in attendance.
Apparently the players who were in the squad when team last won promotion were given an engraved Rolex watch.
One of these was offered up as the last auction item for £50k.
