If you want to have a scapegoat for defeat today at least don't be so lazy to blame a centre back who wasn't at fault for their goal.

Our midfield was non-existent for most of the game.

    Tactics all wrong

No balance in that side at all. Poorly organised. Few outlets for defenders to pass to.

Not scapegoating him. Its just the annoying narrative that just because he comes out and admits we're crap, somehow he's a great captain.

  2. When we're on the front foot we looked good, but passing it around at the back we looked increasingly jittery. Bazunu in particular looks like he's trying to present them with a goal. We have to take back control and keep the ball better or its a matter of time til they score.

  3. Jones was a dreadful appointment but at least I could see the thought process. SR thought they could see something in him that no one else saw. OK, they got that totally wrong, and fairly quickly they ditched him.

For me Selles was the really stupid decision. Pretty much every team at the bottom who sack their manager goes for someone with experience. Dyche, Big Sam, Roy etc etc. But not us, oh no. We again think we can buck the trend by appointing a man who was not, and never had been a manager. So zero experience.

Even then I remember a lot of fans who were delighted because he said a few good things about togetherness and he wore a suit.

Pretty quickly it became clear that he has no real idea and is out of his depth. The only thing I'll say is that we could appoint Pep and even he can't do anything about our players who just can't finish any chances. Selles might be a good manager eventually but to put him into this situation was a ridiculous decision.

  4. What is it with Stuart Armstrong. Since he arrived he's scored a few great goals and at times looks like he should be the first name on the team sheet. But none of our managers have seen fit to consistently play him. I heard that he is one of those players that only wants to play when they are 100% fit and pain free which apparently for a professional footballer is virtually never - but I don't know that for a fact.

There must be some issue as when he's good he's great, but he's never on the pitch. He also seems to escape criticism completely.

  5. Maybe SR have a 5 or 10 year plan and they think they can accommodate a year in the championship, and that their investment in players with potential will play off and we'll come straight back up.

To me young players with potential is great. We get to see them develop and we get a big pay day when they move, but unfortunately our established players are either not good enough or are not performing. We desperately need some experienced players who perform consistently - or we're going to get relegated with a whimper.

  6. I never liked Long because for the odd thing he did well he would miss chances that would have gained us draws and wins. Adams is the same. You get a big chance you have to Bury it. Especially the easy ones. You miss absolute sitters, you don't deserve anything.

Let journalists do all the hard work unearthing and writing transfer stories, find them on twitter/Google search, then, effectively regurgitate what they have written, passing the `news' off as your own. Become known as an expert on a `club'.  Stealing a living. But then again, if someone is willing to pay for those words, fair enough.

I've seen that guy on twitter and he never claims to be in the know. He says he's just like everyone else but he collects rumours and shares them. He openly said he has no inside info. Why do you think he's getting a living from his twitter account?
