  1. not the old lack of money reason.

so because we have no money we

    a) play wingers on the wrong side , so that they can cut in, but give us width

b)we drag all 11 back at corners and still fail to mark

    c) we could not hit a barn door when we shoot, oh i forgot we have had more shots than anyone else problem is only 10 at home and 14 away have hit the target.

d)we wait until January to get a center half

e)we play 3 at the back yesterday but forget to tell the players

We bring in countless players from other teams youth set ups who play once or twice and disappear.

We offer season ticket holders the chance to have a 3 course meal for £70 to see a game they have already paid for ( dearest resturant in town)

We are clueless on and off the field , the great businessman seems to be able to control costs but has completely forgotten the other side of the equation you need to get some revenue on a regular basis.

  2. Thank's for the chuckle Mike!!!

    If you do not laugh.

and as for others quoting Man city as a club that stuck together there games were littered with protests etc it was the protests that kept them together and there love of the club

  3. i thought Fratton in the relegation season was my low point in 48 years of support and probably still is because of the utter humilation of being locked in and having to lesten to the skates.

Yesterday just left me numb and the worst thing is that from Fratton to yesterday i have basically stopped caring.

i accept the money issue but employing a guy who has no idea is just a joke

  4. good point made by dave armstrong today.....

when the club is doing well the supporters are treated as customers to be milked for as much as possible, when the club is in strife (now) we are asked to be fans and get behind the team.................they cant have it both ways im afraid.

a point i made earlier, rupert is now reaping the benefits of that policy.

customers have voted with their feet hence the apathy around the club, you do not protest outside ASDA you just go elsewhere.

listening to le tiss on sky is more entertaining

  5. Yep spot on with both points. Just two more awful decisions by JP to add to his already vast number.

and that is what is ****ing me off, nothing to do with money just massive contradictions in his policies.

play with width but then make that impossible by putting the wingers on the wrong side

  6. But if you are seen to slag off Rupert, his specially trained team of hand picked stewards will throw you out.

Personally i would get to the buffet then drink as much as i can before calling Lowe a w-a-n-k-e-r.

i expect the offer will be removed after today

  7. As a season ticket holder i can pay another £70 to sit in the corporate area, have a meal, hear speeches and get a free programme.

Special offer announced today, wonder how many takers there will be ?

  8. First half we played ok, kept giving the ball away though, Surman was a waste of space today, too lightweight.

Second Half we just never appeared, The bloke was in an offside position but it came off BWP so doesnt matter.

BWP and Holmes never ran, or stayed out wide.

AS far as BWP AND HOLMES are concerned that must be the managers fault , if you play them on the wrong sides they have to cut in to stay on their only foot

  9. about 200-300 gathered outside of players entrance chanting Lowe out etc. THe blinds were then all closed.

Didn't see Lowe in his seat today.

he was down the docks taking pictures of a cruise liner to give to the donny directors

  10. Sorry, but I didn't find anything about today funny!!!!

Wilde was there and I hope Richards and a few others who prop up Lowe were there, because they are as responsible as Lowe himself for the predicament we find ourselves in.

The shareholders need to withdraw their support for both Lowe and Poortvliet.

may be the chants should be

we want wilde out followed by

we want askham out and then

we want richards out and then

    we want withers out

lets let them know they are equally to blame as rupert

  11. You are like me then regards experience.

You see I have an Austin maestro and because I can drive at a basic level feel that I could run a formula one team:rolleyes:

but could either of us do any worst than jp , well i suppose we could drop down one place

  12. well you got your answer

and it gives me no pleasure what so ever

what hurts is not the losing but the fact that even my eldest lad who is 21 and been going since he was 5 said in the car on the way home "dad i do not think i will bother to come home from uni for the next home game"

  13. What a sad day. There werer fans waiting for the opportunity to start the anti Lowe songs and were at it when we were a goal down.

Im not against the protests outside the ground after teh game, but during the game in a 6 pointer is suicide.

As for punching stewards and your own fans its so depressing.

I saw some longstanding fans loooking stunned and ! with tears running down her face, and then a young lad with his dad looking fearful.

What a sad state our club and fans have got to.

sorry nick but i really do not think the protests had any effect on the result.

and the question is WHY have we got to this sad state ?

the one thing i am certain of no other business would blame the customers, rupert wanted us to be customers he got his wish and now we will reap the consequences

  14. If it were quite that easy we would all be Managers.

whilst i would not claim to be experienced at a high level of football management with 2 sons (21 and 14) i have run sides from under 8 to under 18 , and the biggest thing i learned was play players in positions they are comfortable with,

Both Holmes and BWP looked like fish out of water and it was no coincidence that when Smith came on to the right side we started to get behind them .
