Isn't Ward a massive Pompey fan?
Would rather we got Pearce.

From Harry's press conference on sky sports, when asked about Pompey...
"I know who I'd like to see buy it"
When pushed about who he says...
"I can't say but I'm sure something will happen
Step forward Rosie

I have heard this through the grape vine. Sadly Portsmouth will not complete the season. I really hope this reliable source is talking rubbish for once. He has informed me that Portsmouth will partner up with United Services Portsmouth. If you've not seen already, the United Services pitch on Park Road, which is the road leading into Gunwharf, is undergoing massive improvements. The entire pitch was dug up last week ago and a mass amount of draining systems have been installed. They have also been leveling out the grounds too. This is apparently in preparation for next season. It is believed that by the newly formed Portsmouth playing there, Gunwharf has the potential to further flourish too.I really do hope this isn't the case, but I thought i'd give you all a heads up on the possibility. PUP
Um!! That's where HCC used to play methinks!

they will be fine. All this is is scare tactics designed to push the price down and get them to sell. Have we learnt nothing from the last few years?
agreed

Holland is the area around Amsterdam, Amsterdam is the only important place in the Netherlands, so Holland it is.
TRY say that in Rotterdam or Eindhoven

All fans want their club to do well. There is more to football than just winning games - hence why you have so many disenfranchised supporters of clubs such as Man Utd and Chelsea. If you ever read an account of a great game by a player, manager, or fan, they'll invariably talk as much about the support, crowd, atmosphere as the game itself. Imagine the '76 final if there had not been one Saints fan there and the ground.only had Man Utd supporters in it - the day would never be remembered anything like it still is to this day.
we were out numbered 3 to 1

4-1 at Old Trafford Ron Davies Hat trick

It's just embarrassing to be paid to go to a match...and still not fill the ground!
the strange thing is probably less than a thousand extra packed the park, 17000 less 3000 Leeds=14000 skates about 1000 more than normal

someone said to me today if Carroll was 4 inches shorter he would not be called a footballer

Different pubs for different times

Closure came at the JPT final when SFC rose from the ashes
-
TBH i am more interested in getting points rather than sending them down, that is what small minded supporters like the skates live on.
"who the f*ck is laughing now"

been a decent loyal keeper for Saints, however is height will always be an issue which means he does not command the area as well as others

Do the rest of the world miss something?? Low attendances and whining deluded thick fans??
Or was he impressed with the Leeds fans?
Doubt a sell out every game could save them, and if they did that it'd be on heavily reduced tickets, and even then they won't sell out! I guess when it's that dire you need to butter up the fans.
I can't imagine the extra fans who don't usually turn up with the bestest will be convinced to come back soon after a 0-0.
Or, did lots of West brom reserves fans make the trip down? Perhaps west brom have loaned some season ticket holders?
agreed filling the park will not save them, they need another mug owner with money, or a first one with money depending on how you look at it
-
I fear Reading. That Friday game will be f******g massive.
thing is they may have to win, we just have to not lose
-
thing is if they could not pack the park against a side who brought 3000 fans they are really sh*t
-
Will the stewards be claiming overtime?
Claiming and being paid are two different animals
-
will have a tear in my eye as I watch the club there 3rd promotion to the top flight in my years of support
First one i was 12 and just exited we were going to play the big boys for the first time in Club's history
Second time 24 saw over 36 games that season and had a great time as Saints took over places like Luton, Fulham and Orient
Will be 58 this time and will get my enjoyment watching 2 sons faces after game
-
Been doing it for 50 years now one way or another I just take it as part of life as there is nothing I can do that will change the outcome.
thing is Pete us old fools have been there and got the tee shirt, my 2 lads are starting to get an edge about them, i probably do not help by keep saying calm down it will be alright
-
look out for lots of wrist slashers in skateland tonight, the truth must be sinking in to their thick skulls now, Moneyfields and Plan B looking the best option
TB saying debt 40 to 50m, bet it will be higher once the bills start flooding in
