I'm back with Sportsmania again. I dropped it before the end of last season after the unreliability and bitcoin problems.

 

Someone on here, it might have been Batman, said it was working again so I went through the bitcoin pain and resubscribed.

 

For me, its back to its former glory and apart from a couple of 5 second buffering freezes, it's been fine. I've got a 6 month subscription and so far, I'm happy.

 

I've got a Raspberry Pi running Kodi connected to my 60inch TV and although it's not as good as Sky Sports (when Saints is showing) it's definitely watchable and quality/audio are good.

 

Oh, and does anyone know why the streaming thread was closed? That used to be useful!

No i have not done that, not verygood withthese things, i use kodi via amazon tv stick, where or how do i upgrade the repo

Paid Sportsmania £10 this morning to renew the acount, the kodi app showing todays games but nothing working , i have the VPN on. Now using The Shizz site via kodi , paid a tenner and its working well, watching the Newcastle game and it doesnt need the VPN. Always liked SM but i think its dead now, twitter account down as well

Thinking of taking the other half to Rome for a 4 night break in Sept, can anyone recommend a hotel not to far away from the main attractions. BA doing good deals but all the hotels seem a long way out of the city.

Any advice on Rome would be handy

Just don't get ill on the IOW. St Marys hospital has a terrible record and that's coming from a senior Nurse I know. My partner is a Pharmacist and the waste she has to deal with is huge when it comes to NHS drugs. The NHS should charge everyone for a prescription then see what happens. She even sees scripts for nit combs and sun cream. Why the hell are we paying for these. The whole system is abused, its gets enough money but is mismanaged and there are no repercussions for senior managers as its all a closed shop. I bet we are paying various rates for basic hospital commodities like rubber gloves. Why cant any government sort this out, its not difficult to have a central framework procurement contract, that way you will get better prices

I had the same trouble with the BA webs site, ended up calling them, very helpful. We are are going from heathrow 12.05,arrive Linate 3pm. Plenty of time to get to our hotel about 30mins tram or 10mins taxi to San Siro, its the hotel Raffaello, looks ok with tripadvisor. coming back sat afternoon £173 flights and accommodation and breakfast . i think thats pretty good

Lucky you. I'm trying to book a flight to Italy (not Milan) and can't get past - tried many times - stage 3 (passenger details) and can't see why. Just hope the next door neighbour isn't in as I've been swearing at the screen rather noisily...
