TBF when we have had blue away kits, it has been nothing like PFC blue thank goodness. But if we changed wholesale to blue, including the stadium, brading, everything, then it would be a very dark day

Birmingham at home, only 1 goal down, tired or not I think that will be one close game and I would not bet against the Blues winning.
I am not really sure which team would give the Hammers most problems at Wembley but just have a feeling it would be Birmingham
-
Are you trying to put them off football?
I attended the reserve game against the Skates at SMS and even that was terrible.
Reserve matches at Staplewood are a must!

Having a reason to open another beer after MOTD finishes

pretty unimpressive this afternoon.
Whittingham was poor - no, make that absent from the game - in both play off legs. Mind you, not the only one.

I know this is a little ols so indulge me!
Pinnacle - courtesy of of Leon Crouch I believe put up the £500k for the exclusive period. They met the the T's & C's!! To be fair Markus Liebherr did not! Perhaps one of the few mistake Cortese has made.
They did their job, which was to look after the creditors, no the clb, not the fans, the local businesses many of us work for. They did OK by us so lets not dismiss them or start name calling.
Again, spot on.

He asked for a sum of money (believed to be around £500k) in order to a) keep the club running for another period of time, and b) give them a period of exclusivity to conduct whatever due diligence they wanted and to get a deal done. Leon Crouch, on behalf of Pinnacle, was the only person willing to do so at the time. We've no idea whether Liebherr would have concluded a deal sooner had that money not changed hands, we don't even know if the club would have survived long enough without it.
Spot on. We were completely skint. The collection buckets from fans were not just for PR, we had nothing left. Asking for a non-refundable deposit is standard practice in Administrations because it is very very usual for some "interested parties" to talk Billy Big B*ll*cks but not actually have any cash or any real intention to do a deal.
In our case, the deposit was a way to flush out who was serious, AND we were desparate for the cash to keep trading. Nothing at all about this was illegal or breaking League rules. Where was ML then? Who knows but at that time how could anyone judge if they were serious?
And yes, as posted elsewhere, the first act of Fry and Co was to get R Lowe and his board to quit. I have no issue with that!

But you don't do e's?
lol

Cricket. beers. holidays. Oh and rampant transfer speculation (for any club)

The 4-5 win under Bally at Carrow Rd will always live with me, but the great day was made even better by just how decent and friendly the Norwich fans were, even after we had just snatched the last minute winner. great club, have a lot of time for you. Cheers
-
this is a myth. Norwich brought in 7 players during the close season last year - and the year before that as well. They have just been integrated into the same style of play so it seems like the team has not really changed. This is what I believe adkins means by "evolution" but it doesn't mean we wont bring in at least 5 new players.
I think that what both Norwich and Swansea did so well was keep the nucleus of their teams together and then add players who were very much hungry to succeed, i.e. no real stars / been there and done it types, just people who would immediately fit in and graft

Jamie O'hara from Woves. Looked superb as a youngster at Spurs. Did ok whilst on loan with the Skates & earned a permanent move to Wolves which is enough to ruin any player. I'm sure Nige could get the best out of him.
shame he is a c*ck tho

thanks OP

Quite amused that the promotion thread only stretches to 6 pages when topics such as Rudi Skacel hit 20 or 30 at least!
Er, hangover hell x 000's

FFS, these are supposed to be professional sportsmen??!!
Yep should be reacting much quicker !

Legend! That is all

After the first season. Fed up with constant "stand up if you are a proper fan / sit down if you are a skate" / fight the stewards cr&p.
Clearly I was already getting old at that point as I just wanted to watch the matches
Kingsland North ever since, and very happy there (with the exception of people only singing for a few mins after we score)
-
I'm sitting at my desk now looking out of the window and can clearly see the tops of the stands at the King Power Stadium. I will be there tonight cheering on another team like I've never done before in my life. I'm even borrowing a Leicester shirt from a mate. I will be going more mental than any Leicester fan in that stadium if they score this evening.
Good man. I would love Leicester (very decent home record lately, very professional manager, playing under no pressure at all, with a fully fit squad to choose from) to win 4 or 5 nil. A total thrasing please
There, I have convinced myself
-
Well believe me, it does make you a better fan as you could actually be bothered to make the effort to support the team unlike those who only make the effort when it's an hour up the road.
If Saturday's game was against Palace or Reading, people would've been offering mental money for tickets and they would've been like gold dust. Where as the game actually involved a bit of effort in getting to, most people decided they couldn't be bothered and there were over 1k tickets that went unsold.
Still can't get my head around how people think having 1k unsold tickets for one of the biggest games in decades is good support. Shame on those who couldn't be bothered.
Still trolling I see, when there are just slightly bigger issues tonight and onward. FFS as if you know for sure that every single other Saints fans who did not go to the game, did so because they could not be bothered
-
100% take it tonight. If West Ham don't win, we're up. Further, we'll still have deserved it, as we'll have ended up with more points than them.
Plus I can't make the coventry game, which means if West Ham do win I'll be glued to t'internet on my phone, making me very anti social at a good mate's stag do....
Likewise - am best man at my mate's wedding (selfish git failed to spot the season has not ended) so I am supposed to be mid speech when the Cov game is on. Not good....
-
Well done, you've found the one and only independent coach we take away from home. 52 people out of 4,000 odd are using an independent coach... wow.
I have not looked because I am not bothered but it seems to really matter to you, so feel free to confirm for certain that is the only one which disproves your troll

is there a game on?

If you're struggling with transport it's worth giving this guy a call, he runs 'Saints Away Travel'. He picks up on the Waterside, Totton, So'ton city centre, Eastleigh and Winchester. He's had luxury double-deckers for recent trips so if you're unfortunate enough to have to travel by coach this has got to be a lot better than the Bingo-Buses.
Nick: 07801 867365 or nickgregory2@gmail.com.
what, an independent coach, to an away match? And he's done it before? Must be a spurs fan, coz our elderly / drippy people couldnt do this...

We are going to take photos of the crooked spire before settling down for 9 hours kip in our nice hotel rooms
I doubt we will get to Sheffield unless we bribe the driver big time. Any recommendations (for a decent pint that is)?
Sheffield could well be rocking when / if you make it. Well, half of it anyway, as Utd can secure promotion this weekend at MK ****eplasticfansstolenclub Dons
