Yep, massive improvement this season, looks so much better than he did under the so called brilliant man manager last season. Hats off to Maya and to RK for their efforts.
-
Agreed, especially with shooting from distance when the weather was like it was yesterday.
Agree with the OP completely, although I am not writing off Top 4 just yet. The lack of shooting worries me though. 10 days of training to work on the issues from Swansea and W Ham and not much sign that we have identified this most basic problem yet.
-
Agreed, thought today was his poorest game too. Amazed he was not subbed at HT
-
Was it the guy behind me who called for Lambert to come on, to take our free kick late on (which we wasted)? Got mostly laughs from what I heard
-
Still cant last more than an hour. Good
-
Fair enough. RK knows best

You do understand that the Lallana Lovren Lambert transfers - blanket coverage in the media in the summer and the lead in to this game - are different to the sheer boring coincidence that we signed a right back and a centre back from the same club three years apart? A coincidence even commentators in our matches against Palace barely mentioned due to its utter irrelevance.
You do understand that, right? Yes?
If we'd had a similar situation - a competitive match against Feyenoord, say - we'd cover it. We would.
Get it now?
Ok you think we would do a real lengthy love-in for another club. I dont. The Palace thing was a joke FFS
-
Except we would do it. If we drew Feyenoord in the Europa League, we'd definitely do it. If we signed three young players from, say, Leeds United and got them in the FA cup we'd do it. We'd do it better than LFC but we'd do it.
We didn't do it for Fonte and Clyne a few weeks ago because they joined three years apart and we've played Palace plenty of times since.
Jokes have to actually work, sunshine.
Sorry its all lost on you and you still dont understand, we would never do this. A 10 min awkward, cheesy, love-in for another club in which players said how much they loved the club and fans from our next competitive game. As part of a week long media campaign by one of those players (AL). But then SFC would not need to do this, having not used the media to get the transfers done and then not been disrepectful about that club in the first place.
-
No I don't think we'd execute it in the same way, and that video is cringeworthy but still have no idea what specific point you were making regarding Clyne and Fonte. What point were you making?
Exactly what you have finally worked out. We would never do this. Sorry if you have not come across jokes before. Going to my seat now, enjoy the match
-
West Ham, all is forgiven. (Provided you dont mess this up now)
-
If we signed another Feyenoord player and drew them in our first match in Europe you don't think we would do a feature on that on our site? Even if we didn't sign another Feyenoord player.
Okay then.
Even by your standards you are setting new records for missing the point. You think we would do a 10 min awkward love-in about another club? Ok then.
-
RK says some players move for money. The headline may shriek of "No ****" but well said anyway.
-
What was your point?
Fonte and Clyne joining us from Palace three years apart bears no relation at all to those three joining Liverpool within weeks of each other.
Oh jeez, double whoosh. We would never do this seriously awkward and cringeworthy vid, even if we hired 3 on the same day
-
Its good to be liked.
-
It might have been the case if we signed them both in one transfer window and they returned that very season
Missed the point I see
-
WTF?! Must have missed our media campaign and in-house interviews asking Clyne and Fonte to spend 10 mins talking all about Palace
-
I think he was very badly advised and that antagonised us. He was not the first good player to leave us and if he had handled it better we would not really have resented it because we have become accustomed to it. Ricky wrote us a nice letter while Adam tried to engineer a move by using media contacts to grumble and then told Liverpool fans that he wanted to move months before. I hope the fans will forgive him one day.
He got advice from MLT, but listening to Matt today on that subject, he clearly did things differently afterwards. Sod him

there's about to be a thing on soccer saturday after the break about him coming back
"Knowing how well Saints have done now, if you had known that at the time, would you have made a different decision?"
Very long pause, eyes all over the place, before he gave the answer, "no"
-
Do you support saints or Rickie Lambert? This wanting an opposition player to score against us is mental!
Lucky you, for not being involved when Branfoot was at his worst.
-
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
'Lallana is a talker.'
No kidding.
But this publicity, this emotion from him..... he's worried, he is very vain and very worried.
This. Has no idea when to keep quiet. Have a feeling he might just go missing on sunday

Anyone recall the Norwich game some years back Skacel and Rasiak (who both often flattered to deceive) played out of their skins, with many comments about them both being prime candidates for a random drugs test after the game: next day both had buggered off on loan.
Er, both were shipped out, along with Saga later on, to get them off the payroll, as part of the moving the Titanic deckchairs strategy by Rupes.

The daily mail is clickbait junk and should ALWAYS be treated as such, its unfortunate that they comment at all about us. Its as if they have got the leftovers from the journalist talent pool which was pretty ****ing shallow to start with and then dumbed them down.
My missus reads it and it drives me nuts, its the ****ing e channel of a newspaper.
Rant over.
Also if I could kill 2 journalists then Martin Samuel and Paul Newman would be hot favourites.
**** I hate the mail.
Get off the fence FFS, this forum is for giving your view

Watched the Morgan 15 min interview. Gave quite a big up to Liellana over his role in keeping the team together in L1 etc. Said it was not up to him to tell fans how to react, but was clearly implying we should not boo him. That said, Morgan is very much looking forward to tackling him
-
Nice. Its not revenge though, just another three points towards our objective

Nothing suprises me about MOTD, except when we do actually get any decent praise, which we have done on a couple of occasions this season TBF
