Don't, can you imagine waking up to find we're still in league one with Sisu instead of the Liebherrs.
Worry not, I have scheduled the mother of all alarms to shake me from it when we finish in the CL. Or above Spurs

A bit fortunate not to have a penalty for a foul on Kane but then his goal was maybe marginally offside so tough **** Spuds

Its all a dream

Great work by Pardew & Puncheon. Can you keep up Mopo? Nah

"The more you try and weaken them, the stronger they come back. If we bought 5 of their players, they'd win the league next year and we'd get relegated. Just ask Brenton. "
Lol. But then balanced against that, spotted this gem about Big Vic / the Arsenal match:
"The recent Arsenal - Southampton game he completely bossed you lot."
"Were you at the game? He didn't - he was largely ineffective after the card. Saints were poor until they got their tails up after two goalkeeping mistakes- we were abysmal."

Either we accept both jury decisions unconditionally or question both equally, surely? Or are you suggesting its OK to question the jury's decision for one defendant but not the other?
Completely this. Some people have repeatedly said that Evans was convicted by a jury of his peers and that is that. To describe someone found not guilty, by that same jury of people good and true, as "lucky" is ludicrous.

No I am not being stupid view from the top . My point is that us a French tragedy and our journos are just being little over the top dissecting every aspect of what has happened . Did the French Germans etc give the same coverage when Lee Rigby was brutally murdered ?
BBC reports major terrorist attack in Paris, brazenly killing civilians who dare draw cartoons. Along with media from every other major country. Huge concern of similar attacks in other western countries, including us.
BBC does not give huge focus on an unfortunate accident for a boat with non UK sailors, which sadly happens regularly around the world, along with thousands of other types of fatal accident and thus is not very newsworthy.
Wow, yes the BBC is really the pits.

Still have not forgiven them for that FA Cup game when Shipperley scored a great header, which was disallowed for a push on one R Keane, who did not even appeal. Ended up 4 rows down in the celebration. ****ers
2-1 Saints. Please

Bucks . The problem is the BBC were sensationalising the weather story. For what purposes I don't know . This time of year we get hit by a lot of gales it's nothing new. Last weekend was worse . And sadly 8 people lost their life's when a cargo ship went down . Just off the coast of Orkney . In the pentland skerries . The BBC and other news outlets refer to the sailors as 7 poles and a Filipino . Not once have I seen their names mentioned . Of they had been British there would have been a different angle on the tradegy . I expect a certain individual will give me grief about my post . It's my view and I am entitled to it
Ok but surely every media outlet gets the weather wrong?! And while its a sad loss that 8 people died in that incident, are you really singling out the BBC for not listing their names? Almost every UK media outlet makes a point of highlighting UK casualties in any disaster, and not really giving much more than minimal air or print time to the (sometimes) many greater numbers of foreigners killed or injured. I appreciate its your opinion but in mine, none of this is unique to the BBC

1. If they are coming up with exclusives instead of just reporting I personally see that as a better service.
2. Everyone knows prince andrew, most news services will use the obvious name to report.
This is basically you getting into a huff over the BBC isnt it ?
This. Perhaps an ex employee? Or works for ITV

Bucks . I don't . But surely the BBC should have done an investigation when it first surfaced same with the accusations against Winifred bramnel (step toe) .
On a different BBC aspect . They have been going on about the weather up here . The winds were bad but nowhere as bad as last week and certainly not the worst . But still the been persist with inaccurate information ,
The other week we were told to expect a hurricane bomb . This one and tomorrow's one is being called a severe storm surge . What bollixs it just gale force winds
First point - thats what the investigation is looking at; what they knew; what they should have concluded; etc etc. Anything is speculation at the moment
Second point - wait, the BBC got the weather wrong? Wow that is a scoop indeed, no one else gets it wrong, fact

This is not about islams fault ( you should go to the other thread) where have I mentioned islam ?
There was allegedely enough information about saville many years before it became public, which they could have done something about . they didnt . Im not saying the Beeb are at fault re employing them
but to submit their Scoop for the scoop of the year award is in totally bad taste , given the individaul has not been charged.
so are all the journos who took part going along to the awards on licence payers money ?
How do you know the outcome of the ongoing enquiry?

We might sack him next year because he doesn't really have a Plan B.
Not often you crack jokes, or maybe I miss them. 5/10

Really good post. I thoroughly agree with you. O f course he should be allowed to earn a living, otherwise he will just become yet more of a burden on the state, in addition to his prison upkeep, which we have being paying for, incidentally !
But not in a high profile, 'role-model' type of job that a Professional Football League Player enjoys.
So what role are you saying he should be allowed to do then? And just him, or anyone else?

Whats a 'roster attrition'?
First team injuries?

The presenter (Danny Kelly I think it was) stated that he was told first hand by disgruntled footballers that the PFA were not helping them find work as much as they were for Evans. Is he lying?
Talksport never say anything which turns out to be wrong
-
The PFA are fighting hard to get Evans back to work as a footballer and it was pointed out last night on Talksport that there are lots of out of work footballers just been released from their clubs that the PFA haven't done anything for. Strange why they are pushing for Evans but ignoring the struggling hard working players that haven't raped anyone.
Union ignores paying members? Should be all over the Daily Mail but Talksport are never wrong, so this must be gospel.

Or...it's taken his legal people this long to wake up to the damage that remaining silent can cause....
Or his legal people are (quite rightly) advising him on his legal position ref the conviction, investigation and any chance of an appeal, not what is being said in the media and on social sites about his possible football career. Even if they were, the former surely trumps the latter - i.e "0k, well apologise if you want to / it would be helpful, we understand that, but it will seriously damage your appeal chances. Our advice remains to say nothing for now". My speculation yes, but not that hard to imagine
-
Classy
"A club director told BBC sports editor Dan Roan that a staff member was told a named relative would be raped if the deal went ahead."
Excellent. Have an opinion yes, hugely disagree yes, protest yes, vote with feet and wallet yes. Threaten rape? Mob rule full circle

Might be bad news soon for Turks money spinning plans re selfie sticks:

Sorry. I'm not on here every minute of the day.
Thanks. Still nothing in any media outlet though, except how all is well at Barca and its all **** stirrers (per the president)

Don't know why he benched him and Neymar though the other day against Sociedad as that was the first game back from winter break so couldn't have needed a rest.
They had an extended leave over the break, to go "home" to south america and apparently had only just flown back

Just caught the last 5 mins of MOTD Extra, just as they turned to a quick discussion about our game. Cue 5 minutes of how Van Gaal is doing, their array of attacking talent, how they may miss Young today and their injury record. Oh, and how Utd should have lost at SMS. Not a single word about us at all. Frankly it was amazing that they even mentioned we are the opposition for Utd today.
