Zoltan was an odd signing for Southend, do you know many players from Hungary that are any good? Well he isn't one thats for sure. He lacks any real talent in game and really doesn't offer much in potential either.

It might be worth keeping as a squad player at best otherwise try and get some of that wasted 50k back.

FM stats anyone?

Did anyone ever get Lipsticks stats of FM. I have been told he's on there. I know this isnt a full fount of knowledge but can give some idea of ability.

So what position does he actually play. I have a feeling FM puts him down as a Centre/Right midfielder.

I have not seen him play so cant judge. However I think fittness and maybe confidence has been a problem. Maybe a few more reserve games and make a sub appearance and we could have more of an idea.

Could it be that he is constantly played centre when he is a better right sided player (i.e.better at running and crossing, but maybe not at tackling and breaking up play?

Are fans always right though (cough....not getting Hoddle back.....cough)

No one likes Lowe, we all see that but until a viable alternative is there (I know what Crouch says but we dont know that for absolute fact) then were in a bit if a tight spot.

All we can do as fans at the moment is get behind the manager and team. We altimatly dont effect the boardroom none of us are rich or powerful enough to exert that sort of influence.

So whats the latest odds now, if they stick with Adams there doomed. We just need to stay up to ensure a derby day!!

I agree with Alpine, who cares who was right and who was wrong. The fact is that we have kept our best players and actually strengthened.

Yes I know the league place doesnt look good but lets get behind the team and behind the manager and try to get out of this. You dont have to like the board thats fine, but support the club. They need us!!

I would reccomend Chicago, beautiful city went there is September last year, if u do PM me IM me and I'll tell u some spots to go.

Molyneax is a natural left back and much more affordable. Skacel is better quality wise but for the sake of the finances I would let him go.

I think we have a good enough squad to stay up. However it depends what you believe about administration being just round the corner. If it is and were likely to enter the board may decode to take the point hit this season rather than being handicapped (as bmouth are this season) at the strat of next.

I would have thought it is the only way forward. Lets face it a rich overseas sugar daddy looks as likley as a bank making a profit this year.

 

To get rid of Lowe and Wilde, someone needs to buy a significant amount of shares or atleast have them proxied to them.

 

In terms of saving us - football results wise we are not down yet and a few good players & wins will change everything.

 

But it maybe that they are starting to plan for next season.

Barclays I believe just published a quite healthy profit (I think). Therefore anything can happen.

Anyway, buying at the last minute. I dont see it as panic buying. Alot of clubs will wait until the last min to purchase players so save paying wages and to get a better fee. Thats quite sensible, especially where funds are tight.

Would be good business in my opinion, I do rate him but he blatenly doesnt want to be at Saints. Let some money in, maybe bring back Griffet/Perepoythkin as a replacement?

All in all I dont think he's a huge loss, he had potential and quality but couldnt fit into this side (much like Anders in some ways). You dont change the whole team to compensate for one player, the team is more important.
