Great save from Davis keeps us just about in it.

a gliimmer of light my arse.
We will only stay up if we produce the goods, not relying on sloppy seconds from the other teams.
Jesus get over yourself for F**k sake did I say we were staying up. Its a slight glimmer relying on us to turn this game around You F**king troll.

FS, just checked my accy and i've got Grimbsy to win. (i just put marks without looking on fun £2 lines)
Must be good Odds though IF they do happen to slip up & win

Norwich have a goal disallowed at St Andrews.
They also had one cleared of the line after that as well. Lets hope that's as good as it gets for Norwich.

A point wouldn't be too bad as long as we make ground on our rivals, that aspect is a must.
Whilst I don't disagree with the sentiment, we have to start doing it ourselves not relying on other teams to slip up & help us out. Draws are not going to keep us up. Wins May well do it for us though.

Euell shoots 30-yrds out harmlessly wide

COYR Just Do it Saints no surrender nothing but 3-points today please.

I just think its endemic of the situation we find our club in. We've had the on going debate about whose fault it all is, and it does tend to wear people down. There seems to be little of any ray of hope coming from the club. People just want to discuss with some form of optimism about football mostly not this ongoing c**p about the board room. The sooner we can get back to football & not the W**Kers in the board room the better for SFC & this forum. There seems to be an apathy sourounding our club at the moment. When you feel there is nothing to be positive about then you usually don't like to talk about it. When people comment about Saints at work I just roll my eyes & try to change the subject, I'd rather be boring them stupid with how good we are. If & when we pick up the apathy will disapear & the forum will also pick up in its mood.

Just heard it on Sky sports news.Congratulations anyway MLT

Strangely enough, the thing that gave me most excitement Saints-wise happened off the pitch. That was the signing of Kevin Keegan. I can remember virtually everything about that day. European Footballer of the Year signs for Saints!! The whole country was shocked. The fact that he signed towards the end of one season and couldn`t play for us until the next really cranked up the excitement and sense of anticipation! There were many exciting signings in those days (Peter Osgood, Peter Shilton, Charlie George, Alan Ball etc) but KK will always stay top with any Saints fan that remembers it.
!
Would have to agree with that I remember my mate a manure fan coming over at work telling me we'd signed KK think it was about 3.0pm-ish. Told him to F**k off & stop taking the P**s. He assured me it was true but I wouldn't believe it till I got home & switched Solent on. then just sat revealing in it on the radio & the local & NATIONAL news. As you say the expectation levels just went through the roof & we couldn't wait for the next season to start.

The game wasn't great but Happy memories of a great day.
!978 The north London yobs remember they put a s**ty fence up which Spurs fans ripped to pieces, Brighton had finished there fixture's & needed us to beat Spurs for them to go up with us. Seem to remember It was a real Sh**y game 0-0 might have just blown for full time at 3.0pm as no one really tried it was just 90-mins untill we could all get on the pitch & celebrate, including Spurs fans. seem to remember both sets of players in the directors box together as well. What a great party afterwards though.
Remember stood under the West Stand a roumour went round about 10-mins from the end that Bolton were loosing & we all started chanting Champions like T**ts for 5-mins untill we found out it was a load of Bo**ocks.
Don't forget Mike Channons Testimonial After the Cup Final, Now that was a GREAT last game.

make it up at Notts F?
I am not sure we will get that many, but also have a funny feeling less will be needed
Hope so NickG I can't see any other way out of this mess. Guess there will be a few more twists & turns yet, lets hope they twist & turn in our direction. Can't say I really believe it but hope to be proved wrong. (praying hands thingy)

I fear the worst on my predictor I had us staying up on 51-points with a draw at Forest. But that included 3-points against QPR so on my predictions we're now need to make those 2-points back up.
Blackpool A 1-2 - - 3-Pts
Charlton H 2-1 - - -3-Pts
Watford A 3-0 - - -0-pts
Palace H 2-1 - - - -3-Pts
Sheff Wed A 1-0 - -0-Pts
Burnley H 1-1 - - - 1-Pt
Forest A 1-1 - - - -1-pt
Total - - - - - - - -11-Pts
Don't see where from this we can make up an extra 2-points.
it actually Looks over-optimistic now & I doubt it will be enough to keep us up. Just keep hoping for a miracle
-
Would you rather he said " Our strikers are performing well I am very satisfied with them" ???
No I'd rather he said They will be in for extra shooting practice until they can learn to hit the space between the posts with a net hanging off it.
-
I think we have to finish better to take the three points?
Well no F**king kidding Sherlock trouble is its been like this all season & ultimately the reason we will Probably go down (I Soooooo hope I'm wrong)
