They were always the team I looked out for if Saints weren't playing and I always wanted them to do well... until it became apparent that they hated us. Nowadays I still look for their result but I pretend that I don't care as much.

Do you drink Ponty?
Do you smoke Ponty?
The first is a pretty **** high, the second just gives you cancer and you get no high from it at all.
That's a rubbish argument. You're rejoicing that the next (temporarily) legal high is here. What's so bad that you need to chemically escape from it?

I wouldn't book a flight for anytime within the next 24 weeks.
-
Isn't it a bit depressing to think that you're life is so sh*t that you need to constantly seek out the next "high" to make it worthwhile?
What am I talking about? MDAI is an anti-depressant so I suppose it all cancels itself out.

I've got a set of love letters that I once wrote. You can have them.
I was only a teenager though and I spent most of the time trying to rhyme words with fanny and bazookas.

Loved Petrov mullering Schumacher and Webber to redeem for his excursion off the track. Brilliant racing from the rookie! Shame the safety car cost us more points but has to go down as points won after quali. Yet again the Red Bulls disappoint in the race. Shame.

There is definitely something a)genius or b)dodgy about the ride height on those Red Bulls. Whatever it is, it works very well.
Fingers crossed for a wet race tomorrow. There's a better than average chance.

It's being reported as a failed upright, which has caused a secondary failure on the other side. The upright is the machined lump of metal fixed to the end of the wishbones, pushrod and trackrod that accepts the brake disc, caliper and wheel. Seems a bit odd that both would fail simultaneously though. I reckon there's more to come out of this story.

That'll buff out.

How come no one believed me when I posted that as fact twice on this forum?

Only as nasty as advocating a sexual practice that is a) illegal b) immoral and ) abhorrent to most.
No one advocated it. At best it was unclear whether he was pro/anti incest because there are no clues. It just says that he thinks in 100 years it won't be frowned upon in the same way homosexuality became legitimised. It doesn't even make it clear whether he's pro/anti homosexuality.
It's also a bloody big leap from incest to paedophilia.
Edit; Sorry, Steve, wasn't trying to have the last word. I must've been typing that out when you were in the process of locking the thread.

It's removable too. I can't understand why anyone would leave it on there. The first time might catch a person out but unless they never read back over their own posts it shouldn't happen again.

Even if he had, back on TSF?
Where's the evidence of that though mate? He says he didn't and you even said you weren't sure. It could have been someone who's long since gone. It's just a nasty, nasty subject to pin someone with unless you're 100% certain. You know I wasn't being personal in removing your post. It was absolutely the right thing to do.

FFS Ponty. This is why this place is going down the tubes. In a serious discussion, some mentally impaired wind-up merchant spouts some total ******** designed to either "provoke" or "be controversial" and its allowed; but when a Moderator simply points out that this poster has previous form for posting this type of bull**** the post gets deleted? **** me blind, so much for impartiality eh?
**** you and **** this ****ing place. ****s.
I don't believe the original post was a wind up, it was just speculation based on what we know about the historical British view on homosexuality. I also don't think it was right to speculate that the poster had ever made a case for paedophilia, no matter how you phrased it. I also think you need to relax a bit cos it's hardly the end of the world.

And unlikely.
Sent from my laptop using Tappyfingers.

Only if the revenue on cigarettes is dropped proportionately by the amount which goes to fund the NHS.
-
I'd agree with that. However, I do understand how some folk get sex changes on the NHS but the amount of money we waste dealing with fat bast*rds and smokers really grips my sh*t.
Oh come on, the portion of duty paid by smokers which goes to the NHS far outstrips the costs of smoking related illness. Now, fatties, I'm with you there.

So, he's made it personal. Again.

That was my mum!
I'm certain it was Le Tiss.

he was one of those "best 3 players" burley used to blubber about
A few here still do.

I can understand people saying Antonio and Jones are similar in that they are raw talents. However they are certainly not the same type of player. Kenwyne's is a striker and his main attribute is his aerial ability. Antonio is very much a winger and not that good in the air.
Although their scoring records aren't miles apart. I still can't see all the fuss about Jones, tbh. 2 seasons in the Prem and he didn't hit double figures in either of them. Hardly the prolific talent some would have us believe that we lost.

I noticed on sunday, driving back from London that it was making a strange noise, nothing too loud or drastic. Didnt drive anywhere Monday and then yesterday had to drive to pick kids up, noise was still there and just thought I would take it to garage to get it looked at. 10 mins later I am struggling to find a gear.
The guy in the garage said it was the bearing slipping through the clutch plate thing. So a new clutch and cable is the upshot of it
Sounds like a collapsed thrust bearing siezing the mechanism up. Thrust bearings are dirt cheap but, to be honest, I'd get the plate changed when it was in bits anyway so you're not going to get ripped off. That's all that I had in mind.

Which form table is that then?
The one I follow from football 365 has them bang in the middle of the form table (last 8 ) - with 13 points, Millwall top with 20 and us just behind on 19:
I was looking at the one on the OS which only does the last 6 games.

Funny you should ask that... The skies are usually teeming with balloons when I'm on my fortnightly, Sunday afternoon drive from Hampshire to Oxfordshire but there were none about yesterday. I thought it odd, especially considering the gorgeous weather.
