I’d be a little surprised if this wasn’t player-led and I understand if he’d want to jump at the first opportunity to play with Juventus. Highly unlikely we’d replace him this late and might as well view Rothwell as his replacement.

For what it is worth, the original source saying he’s heading for a medical is someone who writes for TeamTALK. Given how certain they are about a move being in the works maybe there’s legs to it but I’m not panicking yet 

I must be missing something with Ross Stewart and why Sunderland fans are so happy to sell for that price. Surely it must be completely down to being injury prone? He scored 24 goals for them in 21-22 and until his injury, had 13 goal contributions in 13 games last season in the Championship.

Loan doesn’t even make sense unless he signed a one year extension with us and then Wolves had an obligation to buy

100%, and I’m someone who has tried to remain optimistic with SR. Can’t sell that many players for that much money and have a majority of our signings be loans and free transfers.

Very annoying to lose Adams with the season already started but with a year left on his contract I get not wanting to let him walk for free. It is absolutely imperative the club have a replacement ready to sign as soon as this deal is finalize otherwise Wilcox will have a lot of questions to answer. 

I know it’s only been substitution cameos but what a player he looks like he’s going to be!

This Sacha has done nothing but basically say the same thing in 15 different tweets and is the only one suggesting Lavia "wants" Liverpool. Yet they will sit here and praise this guy like no tomorrow.

I thought Smallbone & Stu Armstrong played well in the midfield but we could use a better anchor in the middle of the pitch. Smallbone is much more of an 8 than a 6 IMO. 

Not saying I’d want him but Bashir Humphreys would fit the bill I think for a loan from Chelsea
