The world is full of mentally unstable people
I'm amazed Rupert hasn't been attacked at some stage
-
Camara v Norwich
I was in the Kingsland and you could literally feel the place rocking
-
I've always liked the idea of a protest mid-match
200 or 300 fans invading the pitch with anti-Lowe banners would certainly get nationwide media attention
-
Is he a permanent deal or just a loan signing?
-
Someone mentioned Kevin Moore earlier on - sadly he's not too well these days with a quite advanced form of alzheimers. I met him a couple of years ago and he was struggling then but I hear it is quite serious now. A nice man and a good servant.
That's really bad news
I hope he still remembers his goal in the ZDS final

Used to drink there every Friday & Saturday in the early 90's
It was heaving in those days, popped in a couple of months back and couldn't believe how dead it was
-
Who cares?
We would have been like Reading, a 25000 seater stadium in the middle of nowhere
Give me SMS every day of the week

One of the World's top 50 rising stars??
Not a chance

You'd often see Saints players in New Yorks in the early/mid 90's
I had a chat with Dowie and Rod Wallace in there

Well, there it is, the 8 players we will see week-in, week-out from Feb 5th.
I have to say, I think the inclusion of Klaasen is a joke. Sure, he's improving, but he's still 25th in the world, for crying out loud, and I don't recall him doing anything fantastic in any of the major tournaments since joining the PDC.
Robert Thornton has been in the PDC less than a year and is in the top 20 (15th I think) having started at number 132 - he is more deserving of a place. Or what about Adrian Lewis who has beaten big names on TV this year (including Barney), has played in the PL and is 7th in the world by a whisker thus just missing automatic qualification.
Am not convinced Mardle deserves to be involved either.
Oh well, I will still be watching!
Thornton is 31st
I agree Lewis must be gutted missing out, but i also agree with another post - Darts is huge in Holland and Klassen has been added for that reason

I used to work for Ladbrokes
It's well known that Peter Shilton was one of their best customers
In fact, Saints paid off one of his bets - not long after he was sold to Derby!!

Another stroke of genius MB
Couldn't find the Piccadilly Circus picture on the link though
Was that on another page?

BWP was also brought in by Lowe just before he left as we used the Coca Cola money to buy him
I think we received £250k from Coca-Cola and BWP cost £750k
-
Those figures are startling
However, when you add them all together, they are still easily covered by the sale of Kenwyne to Sunderland.
So, the £27.5M debt is Rupert's fault as much as anyone's
The man is an absolute tosser if he claims it's all down to his period in the background
-
I'd feel the same way as Rudi
-
I like Simon Jordan, always speaks a lot of sense
-
I dont agree with your criticism of MCG.He is a mobile and quick thinking forward, that has a good understanding of his fellow forward players.
Thanks for reviving this thread - nickh's comment gave me a genuine LOL moment, almost spat my coffee out
-
I must be missing something. I like Gillett.
In spite of that spasticated piece of control that led to the first goal...
I hate slagging off my own teams players, but........................I make an exception with Gillett
He's honest and hardworking, but not good enough for this league
However, he'll be OK next season in League 1
-
I'm only guessing here, but perhaps the arrangement with Spurs was different to other loan players and their clubs
Pekhart or Spurs may have received money for every appearance, and once we realised he wasn't that good, we stopped playing him
Like I say, only guessing
-
I feel totally disillusioned at paying nearly £500 for a season ticket, and come January have only seen 1 win
That ****es me off more than Lowe or Wilde
Strangely enough, I think I'm more likely to renew if we get relegated
Come July when I'm starved of footy, I'll start looking forward to a promotion push and will probably buy a new one
-
On current season's form you might be on your own with regard to that opinion.
I know where you're coming from
However, we need goals more than anything else and having Saga return might give us a chance
Given a choice between Cork or Saga, I would plump for Saga
-
RL mentioned at the AGM that Saga returning would put us under pressure and keeping hold of Cork might be a struggle
If that's true, I would rather have Saga for the remainder of the season than Cork

I'm 38 and done 2 lines of coke a few years back
It's rife in Jersey, I've been to numerous parties where it's on offer like a savoury snack

BWP - are you sure?
I recently saw him in Ocean Village, he was with a tasty girl and she defintely wasn't pregnant
