With the failure of the tank bomb, it is time for Russia to bring out technology they can rely on

TBH, I've never felt particularly vulnerable to wild fires and localised flash flooding in the UK.
Is this story a cover for a national warning system for an imminent Nuclear attack?

According to this the EU have given e30.32 billion in support too Ukraine, the UK e2.55 billion.

Completely missing the point. They cant give any more until Hungary says so!
And they had to grease Hungary's palm, to the tune of $5.8billion, to be able to give anything last time round, so how much are the EU going to have to pay to buy Hungary's vote this time round?
As I said, the UK are in a position to act swiftly and decisively
-
How are the EU getting on with providing more financial support to Ukraine?
Oh, they're not. Because Hungary (Putin's Trojan Horse) are blocking it.
How can the will of 26 countries be blocked by one man and call that democracy?
No doubt, the EU will have to grease Hungary's palm AGAIN (€5.8bn in grants last month) to get this support to Ukraine
Meanwhile, the UK, responds quicker and more decisively AGAIN

Would really appreciate it if you could spare 1-2 minutes to fill out a friends survey for their dissertation.
The research looks at gift buying behaviour within a relationship
All survey entries get entered into a draw to win a £50 voucher.
Would really appreciate the help
Cheers

18 days to go and you barely hear a whisper about it. BBC sport doesn't even have a 'world cup' tab.
They have a FIFA World Cup tab under Football...

Shilling of shitcoins on Saintsweb is a new low 🤣
Yes, quite lol. Or so it first seems
WCI has real utility... football betting on Eth (Not just World Cup, but Champions League, Europa League and Premier League)
You can even bet on Saints vs Newcastle this weekend, using your Eth!!!!
So if people are interested in Crypto (I assume they are from this thread), the World Cup (this is a footie forum afterall) and betting (as many sports fans are), then they should take a look as $WCI combines all three
The World Cup is the biggest hyped event on the planet and so this could do well off the back of that. If not, maybe some people fancy a new form of football betting on Eth
-
A new Eth token which combines the hype of meme coins with the hype of the World Cup...
1. We went live with WCI bets our main utility like 20 days ago, still in testing phase but works flawlessly. 50k+ paid out in Winnings
2. Developing worlds first sports leverage platform, UI mock Up live, platform coming this week
3. Nft’s 450eth mega jack pot.
4. WCI sportswatch live, h
5. $WCI endorsed by biggest legends like ronaldhino, dani , arturo. With more joining in
6. $WCI will have ads in EFL 3rd most viewed league
7. Billboards 30+ screens incoming
8. First Cex bkex is in, more incoming, finalising another one soon
9. YouTube campaign has started aswell, covering through various languages and communities.
This is just the beginning

No wonder the productivity is so c**p

The rail strikes are working quite well in Chichester.
The biggest cause of gridlock in the city are the level crossings in town, which spend nearly 30% of the day closed. This causes untold issues with traffic congestion.
The traffic has not been this free flowing since the lockdowns of last year
So every cloud and all that....
-
Where the pandemic caused a seismic shift towards homeworking and hybrid working, rail strikes will be less effective than they have been in the past.
Many of us are used to working from home and have the infrastructure to do so. So it's not such a big deal as it was 30 years ago
It's this seismic shift that has caused passenger numbers to drop and the need to restructure the railways, so it seems the unions are going to drive more people away, which will need more restructuring further down the line
I feel sorry for the small independent business owners, whose trade relies on passenger footfall. They are getting royally screwed over

Ask anyone under 60 how big was the last TV they bought? or how big the small box in the penalty area is? or how much they weigh? or if they know their waist size?
Indeed. And many younger people buy their weed in ounces and their cocaine in grams (or fractions of).
I buy beer in pints and spirits in litres.
I put litres of fuel in my car, but look at miles per gallon when it comes to fuel efficiency
People should be able to buy/sell in whatever unit of measurement suits them or the customer. Has anyone refused to buy anything because it is not sold in their chosen system of measurement?

On another note, this is an interesting story
Yes I heard that. Something like 70% of their stockpile had been used by 24th April. Roll on a month and there cant be many left

The thing about calling up 1960s T62 tanks could either be a sense of desperation or actually a common sense move. Use the old tanks to maintain occupied territory, so better modern tanks can be moved up to the front lines
If we start seeing T62s on the front line, I'd expect to see the Russian Calvary starting to warm up

51 minutes ago, badgerx16 said:It wasn't. It wasn't even, as Manji claims, to 'celebrate' an election. It started in late 2013 when the pro-Russian President leveraged the Ukrainian Parliament to renege on plans to approach the EU for closer economic ties. This led to mass protests through November 2013, that culminated in violence in February 2014, after which the President fled to Moscow, the Parliament was dissolved, and new elections were set for May 2014. There are claims from both sides about the shootings; most likely the majority were caused by the Police, though there were snipers shooting at and killing a few of the security personnel present.
Indeed.
Watch Winter of Fire on Netflix (a documentary with cameras on the ground, documenting what happened at the time)
A thouroughly good documentary
