Nuked pasties, freezing cold rubbish beer or the favourite PA system?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup they can sign players for multiple millions but they can't fix the PA system
They recruit from primary 5 to man the food outlets
Oh only if Sir Rupert was in charge of the pasties. I think they put them on to heat late Friday afternoon.

Blue in peace here lads.
Koeman will be confirmed tomorrow by all reliable accounts. Talks have been held up due to your end dragging their heels. It seems you were confident Ron would stay in spite of our interest and have spent the last few days approaching managerial targets and working out compensation terms, which is understandable given the narrative that Everton couldn't take Southampton's manager.
Preventing player poaching might not be a great concern for you. Granted, there are one or two that Koeman might want to take along, but the appointment of a DoF and the new owner's own targets mean it's unlikely you'll loose too many. I suppose your biggest concern could be Forster. It's unlikely we'll take VvD unless we sell Stones, which we'll only do if there's an offer significantly in excess of £40m.
Hopefully this won't sour relations between the two clubs too much in the future. I think it's natural that Koeman would want to take the next step and, like at Feyenoord, he will hopefully be remembered as doing great stabilising work with your club as you we transition from feeder club to a solid PL outfit. Great progress, really, and your board should be commended.
We don't care what you think . You are an Everton supportter we don't care about your club or your managers
Yup we all know an Iranian billionaire is the secret of success. Good luck with the Iranian good luck with Koeman. He is the past

Pelle got 12 in his first season. Not crazy to think he could get 15.
Long is very unlikely to ever do that,
Yes but with hardly any goals from midfield it's not enough
The wasted chances we have all seen this season would have transformed our position in the league
-
Got a feeling about this one. Let's tear them a new one.
Pelle and Mane with brace each, 4-0 Saints.
Pelle , mane and Long have no history of scoring a lot of goals per season
It's wishful thinking to believe they are going to change at this stage in their careers . Pelle is at best a 12 goals a year man and Long proves nearly every match that he isn't a natural goal scorer
We cant climb the league if as we have seen over a considerable period of time we fail to score opportunity after opportunity
It's not rocket science we are trying to win games without a premier league quality striker
FFs buy someone anyone would be better than what we have .
Or we could bring in striker with no premier league experience and take the risk he can't make the change to the premier league
Koeman will be gone if we lose the next three matches
-
It'll also be interesting to hear if there are any imminent incomings, particularly with others below us beginning to strengthen, and whether the plan has shifted beyond just signing a single striker.[/quote
They have this view they don't need to tell us anything
If they dont sign a striker now they never wlll
If Koeman loses the next three matches he will be gone
-
Good sensible post
How can Long fail to take th opportunities my old grandmother could put away
If you were to add 50% of the goals he fails to score we would be laughing
For gods sake don't play him anymore
Pelle also cannot be relied on.
Signing just about anyone would be an improvememt
-
I don't think you are the reason. Most of us have seen precious few. Even some we didn't lose felt like we had.
Arsenal are unlikely to be ****ting themselves Pelle has scored six goals this season and Mane 3 and I believe long has scored 0
That Leceister duo have scored 28.
Pelle couldn't even connect with the ball within the six yard box on Saturday and long had a cross or shot , not sure which that must have hit row z
Tossers every one of them
-
While Koeman keeps selecting Wanyama I can't support him. Pelle needs a rest too. Get Austin in the window and bring Pelle back in a month or so once he is no longer the focus of a long ball game and an easy out. That tactic has run its course, it's just exposing his lack of first touch and ability to read the game. He is a finisher, and that's it. Hope Koeman walks the talk now - changes needed, so start by sacking off Wanyama to another club and benching Pelle.
The financial rules prevent us paying competitive wages but the list of inadequate players is endless. Jaunmmi useless. Romelu etc
Long s attempt on goal or cross was laughable , tacdic left huge gaps by not defending , pelle missing the ball in the six yard box
The trouble is there is no solution certainly not on the bench
-
Indeed. If booing your own players is good enough for Pompey fans then its damn well good enough for us. Who wants to come across more intellectually superior to them anyway I say....?
Intellectually superior ?
If they put in another crap oerformance I can assure you parts of the crowd will boo them
The only thing that scares the board is th idea the fans won't turn up to future matches.
All this happy clappy nonsense is based on don't upset them or they will stop trying or they will be so upset they will lose the will to play is ludicrous. On the basis of your remark the crowd mustn't show its displeasure till after we get relegated on the final day
The customer, and we are customers is king.
Let's see Sir Les sell Wanyama when the crowd boos the team off the pitch
-
Who? No one has been stand out awful. We've been a team of awful and abysmal tactics and selections. Anyone booing youngsters is a **** for a start. So what, Fonte? Davis? Steklenberg? Pelle? Rodriguez? I mean who hasn't been ****?!
I like a bit of booing in the crowd. These players don't hesitate to leave when they get the chance of more money so it's kind of niave to think it bothers them too much. They are not Saints under 10s they are professional players.
The booing is a message to the board that we all know and they should know that you can't keep selling players and expect the team will continue to perform at the way they did.
We always seem to have a lot of injuries but the re reason we are struggling is that when you are playing Steve Davis week after week who hasn't played well since Christmas and you are playing Yoshida who is an average player maybe just premiership standard you are going to be in trouble. Long average, Yoshida average, Pelle second tier striker, Rodriguez still recovering, Tadic failing to deliver not brilliant
We sure can't defend and we couldn't score at the end of last season or this season.
Never mind still time to sell a few and if we buy one he will have time to bed in.
So to all you get behind the lads donkeys there will be a bit of booing when we struggle to score against Norwich. Enjoy
-
The last four games are the worst performances I can remember from us in years. I don't think it's a lack of fight at all; I just think we are woefully short of quality. We have been desperately let down in the transfer market and tactically by Koeman over the two legs. Martina, Targett, Yoshida and Ward-Prowse are not Premier League players. Fonte, Davis, Tadic and Rodriguez are totally off form. Why pick 8 defensive outfield players for a match in which we must score. Abysmal.
You are right too many average players . Davis hasn't been playing well since last Christmas. Yoshida isn't good enough, Targett is too inexperienced to be expected to play every match. Rodriguez has some way to go and Tadic seems to have fallen away.
Doesn't help if you sell half the team each year. By the way Pelle and Long are just average not good enough to rely on . It's not their fault they are at best 10- 15 goals a season and that's not enough
Phish really
-
Two Premier League games in and already the pants-wetting pussies are coming out of the woodwork. Why complain about players and tactics already after the most successful season since the early eighties? Some people need to look up the word 'perspective' in the dictionary.
Proud to be s pants wetting pussy
I worry when we are two goals up with ten minutes to go
Tadic is disappointing, Davis is inconsistent, Yoshida is okay but really not good enough to start every week, Long is just an average premiership player and Pelle needs a lot of chances to score
Lots of premiership teams have signed well over th summer.
-
If other clubs do it, as it appears they do, surely we would be foolish not to? As I said before, people have choices. Perhaps forgo a new replica shirt if money is an issue?
Membership is okay with me . Hopefully it makes life easier when trying to get tickets for thr glamour matches
-
Don't think I've heard so much moaning before from our so called fans in one of our best seasons ever. Bizarre.
In the first half we were atrocious. Starting with Long losing control of the ball when he closed in on the keeper and losing control again to knock it out of play. Davis was poor and not playing the way he was at the start of the season. Hull had us contained in our own half for the first 45 mins and must have felt they deserved to be ahead at half time as we seemed unable to pass the ball to each other giving it away constantly.
You seem to have difficulty in understanding a great season and a game or run of games where we have been way below par
Maybe it's you that is the bell Mr super supporter . Maybe you should stop lecturing people from that Ivory tower of yours
-
We could throw in Pelle to carry his bag
-
My God some people really do get annoyed at such small things. We'll finish top 7, and get Europa League. This has been pretty obvious the past month and a half, so why is everyone getting so angsty?
Maybe we are a bit old fashioned we would like to see our strikers score a goal more frequently than every 12 matches
Maybe we should tell Pelle hitting the post means you have failed to get a shot on target again
Goodness those foreign clubs will be queuing up for Pelle after his last 12 matches
-
Really struggle to find a MOM today - Tim Howard?
We really are poor ATM. No goal threat at all.
The number of misplaced passes was shocking, and we clearly weren't bothered about pressing.
Didn't play it out from the back once; far too many hoofs.
Elia kept losing the ball, and the midfield were not good.
Pellé's holdup play was poor, as were our corners.
I'd rather see Long on the end of crosses than making them.
One of our poorest performances for me.
But hey where are all those smart arses now crowing about how Pelle has come good. The stats don't lie he is a very poor striker
He was an average striker before he came and now he is way below average. Shane Long was never top drawer and sure ain't now
If your two main strikers are at best average you will struggle to make top six
To put it simply Pelle is **** poor, the stats prove that

http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barcelona-quiere-fichar-altura-4059709
Article is in Spanish, but the jist of the article is that Barcelona want to sign a tall striker, and Pelle is mentioned as one of the options Barcelona are looking at.
If they do sign a tall striker than Dzeko or Llorente seem the most likely options but in the event they DO bid for Pelle, how much is he worth?
Pelle a striker? Blimey and tall as well. Cripes that's news
-
He has hit the woodwork like 7 times this season, could say he's having a tad bad luck.
He doesn't need to worry because all the worthy posters who abused anyone who questioned his albiity will rush to support him now.
He is what he is a 12-15 goal a season striker just like Long.
He will score again sometime in the future. One fine day they say.
So instead of abusing him or making out he is some kind of first rank striker we shoukd except him for what he is.
Now if you want to have a go at someone for being woeful I would suggest Tadic. Mr Disappointment.
-
Agree with the sentiments, the crowd was far too negative in 2nd half against Liverpool, the delight some dimwits seem to take in slagging off Pelle is particularly sad, one 'fan' followed up his criticism by singing Lamberts name as if to make a point. Real shame.
Thank goodness we have the true fans police to ensure anyone who shows his disapproval is quickly put in their place by those who know better and are real fans
You don't need to tell Pelle he is crap at the moment, that he has missed sitters that an under 11 tyro league player could have safely put away
Surprisingly to a number of you he know this as he has been playing since he was eight
If you think booing honestly impairs the physical ability and upsets a professional player you are an idiot
Will the real fans just give it a rest. Now I must practice my booing for tonight
-
Probably won't happen that way anyway, can't go on for ever, we have to score sooner or later, perhaps a punt from long range, haven't had one of those for a while. If Toby is fit eough to play I expect to see a lot more composure at the back again and our wingbacks getting forward far more.
They should give Pelle a rest and play a different formation to break the pattern
If we play the same formation we are just putting more pressure om Pelle.
He and Long were never first rate strikers they were always average strikers they both need multiple chances to score that's the way they have always been. It's unrreasonable to expect them to up their ratio of chances to goals now they are in the premiership
Goodness knows somebody shoukd shoot from outside tge box. Corners and free kicks are dire too.
-
I think our last one was from Toby up at Selhurst on boxing day.
Our free kicks and corners are truly woeful. We always over hit them or they dont get past the first man.
Pelle is not totally to blame Tadic has been woeful. Shane Long and Pelle have never been first rate strikers they were average goalscorers but never right up there with the best
However Pelle has fluffed numerous chances four five in the last few games. We need to change the pattern of play to break the run
-
Luckily we have you to put us straight
-
Tadic wasn't woeful, he was one of the better players in the first half, his crossing was poor in the second half but he wasn't the worse player on the pitch. Elia is a great player, watching him in the flesh instead of the tv you get an even better appreciation of how good he is, if we can keep him beyond the rest of the season Id'd be well happy.
Tadic was woeful compared to,his early performances. You must have ben watching another game
Elia was okay, early days but hardly brilliant in that match.
Woeful

This strategy alienates the fans and will eventually fail as
you cannot rebuild the team every year and not mess up one of those years
The players know they can engineer a move any time they want
Every other club know that they can buy our players
Les lacks any kind of charisma and his silence is an insult to the fans
If the owners don't keep up with the rest of the league the club will fail
Previous years are just history. This year will be tough
VVD will be gone next summer
