Palace had it on the upper chest / shoulder when they had a sash as their away kit last season.
-
9er, is wearing the away shirt in all games an option? Im sure i saw Feyarood wear their away kit in most games last season, even when there was no obvious clash
-
I imagine those who dislike our new home kit, due to it's likeness to Stoke, won't be happy if we look the same HOME and AWAY.
-
exactly this! I know this has been done on stats, but if you were going to do a player-of-the-year type vote, the Afroman would win hands down.
-
Thanks to those who visited the site to vote. We will be voting on the Youth Player of the year as well as the Goal of the Year in the coming days. Please keep checking the site for transfer updates, game reviews and many other articles each week.

A few avid Saints fans have put together a fan page with interesting articles and game previews/write ups etc each week. At the moment we are voting on the player of the season. Please jump on the site and have your vote. While you're there, have a read of some of the great pieces submitted by The Dell Boys (and Girls). http://thedellboys.com/2015/05/18/vote-for-your-saints-player-of-the-year/ Cheers

ISSSS IT REALLY??!!! (like nothing else) not if the leaded away kit is correct. navy n sash opposite direction. #SameSameButDifferent

Im with you 9er. I dont have the in depth knowledge of your good self, but that doesnt stop me getting all excited at what may be!! I think the Rank Zerox home kit, with a European-feel deep purple away kit.... WHO'S WITH ME??!!
-
AGREED. I thought it as soon as I saw it. Would be very happy with this kit. strange they havent revisited the design earlier. must say, glad that we are finally releasing a little earlier than usual. Be good to see the players wear it for the final home game.

BBCs Champions League: How race for top four will unfold... possibly
scdean replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Each place does make a difference, as the Europa qualifying teams are seeded for the first round of qualification games. I believe 5th goes straight into the group stage, while the other spots have play off games to reach the group stage. -
You would normally think it might go the other was for this kind of partnership. If we did happen to strike a deal with say the Seattle or Portland teams, you would think they may change their away kit to red and white. I know in Aus that is how it would work. The local team aligning slightly with the Premier League team.
-
Would love this as the home shirt! But as someone mentioned above, sneak it in as a Europe shirt, done. Also, Im a fan of the potential away shirt. Like a funky away kit. Orange was the other option in my mind. Reckon Koeman Army would stock up on that one!

This is classy. This with red and white halves would look great. Although people claim to know it will be a sash, I cant really see them going away from stripes after one season, after everyone fought so hard to get them back. any rumours floating around regarding away kit?
-
Surely if in February it was "too late" to be able to make the kit ready for August (still think it's a joke that adidas couldn't manage it but we could) then it's too soon to be able to produce adidas saints gear for the summer.
-
9er, WHYYYY do we do that ridiculous option of not selling the shirts anywhere other than club shops and online. It has always made me crazy. As an overseas Saint, it makes the mind boggle. Surely we should be making our kit widely available to increase our reach to new fans etc. I would have liked us to go with Puma or UnderArmour as something a bit different.
-
I still struggle to see how we can produce a football kit ready for next season this far out but the biggest sports manufacturers in Europe cannot. It angered me last year too when this all happened.

I was thinking about this the other day when we were linked to Classi. We hate/d Liverpool for raiding ou club again n again. I was angree n thinking there are so many other clubs out there, go n look at their players! ! Are we just doing the same? My only saving thought is that Ron came from there and it's not uncommon for managers to bring ex players with them and go back to the old club to sign players. So maybe we aren't quite SO bad?! Thoughts?
-
Not a bad return. People get excited over 15+ goals a season these days. Thanks for your thoughts guys. I always wonder what the buzz would have been like if ****ter etc was around when Tiss n Shearer were coming through
-
Reading this article and watching the videos, I wondered what the feeling was about Le Tiss as a youngster. We have lots of hype over all our kids coming through our great academy n talk about if they'll be the next Bale etc. But I wondered what the chatter was like when He was coming through. I was growing up in Aus during his career, and while I loved n idolized Him from afar, we didn't get much "soccer" in the media in the 90s. Was he built up as a prodigy / wonder kid etc? Love to hear the thoughts of the locals at the time. http://babb.telegraph.co.uk/2015/01/matt-le-tissier-the-last-footballer-of-his-kind/

WHY is this the case with most stadiums. Why do they hide away any contentious decisions? Most sports have gone with some sort of replay umpire, I know there isnt an efficient/effective way to include this in football yet, but why wont they show replays of potential PENS or OFFSIDES etc on the screens in the stadium??!! I know the answer is probably crowd behaviour etc, but isnt that a bit of a copout/embarrassing??!!

Awesome mate. Enjoy your host experience. I make it over fron Australia occasionally and love it. Watch every game at home but there's nothing like supporting the saints at St Marys. Maybe shoit the club an email n tell them your story. May be able to sort you out with something. Enjoy

"Sunday's win at Manchester United was as professional a display as you will see this season." We should be in this top grouping. Top 4 of the prem nearly all season (longer than united etc) and beating former top teams. Deserved.

yep. funny how its not fine to have in the return game, after it was ok for St. Mary's AND Sunderland just wonder why we make a kit that clashes anyway. reminiscent (well not AS bad) of the white kit we never wore 2 seasons back. I noticed west ham wore a random new kit for the FA cup last week. wondered if they had made the same mistake as us.
