  1. Finally back from the game.

Great result obviously - personally I don't think the performance was as good as we played for large spells against Plymouth and Leyton Orient, however the goals game - possibly because as the home team Bristol R. had to attack a little.

Lallana had a great first half - really hope his injury isn't too bad. Of particular mention also was Puncheon - I've read quite a bit of negativity on here about him over the past week or two but feel he had a good game today - if his shooting was stronger he could've had a couple today after cutting inside to create a chance.

  2. Wrong decision.

But on the positive side of things, Chainrai will continue to screw them over. He's never gonna pump enough money in to get them to the Prem and I don't think we'll have to wait too long for our next derby game.

  3. Nothing to read into that, he asked both sides if they would appeal. Likely he hasn't made his mind up yet, but may be leaning one way or the other.

You're probably correct... but is it usual to set an appeal date for one day after the ruling is heard? Am I reading too much into the fact that Friday (the appeal date) just happens to be the day before the football season starts and a decision before k.o. is best if, as Poorpy's lawyer stated, that they are "likely to go pop if HMRC win"?

  4. would be more than happy for HMRC to get their hands on the books, think most of us would like to see that happen. String the buggers up lol !

whatever happens whether league 1 after this season coming or whatever if we still have a club without chainrai and any other suspect fooker I'll be happy. Rivalry as you know goes out the window in the situations like this, most important thing is survival, we'll resume the rivalry later !! ;)

Fingers crossed; I'm sure people at HMRC have a pretty good idea of what's been going on and with any luck they can put a case together for the courts. Hopefully the derby days can resume soon, it's what football's about.

  5. I spent a lot of time earlier this year trying to find an adversarial motive between Chainrai and Gaydamak, based on the events, but couldn't find one. Every avenue led to collusion.

    .

I agree - they have been in it together all along. Ask yourself this...

You take someone to court over a "business disagreement" - for example: http://archive.globes.co.il/searchgl/Court%20orders%20Gaydamak%20to%20pay%20Kushnir,%20Chainrai%20$23m_h_hd_2L34nDZaqDbmnC30mDJ0mC34sBcXqRMm0.html

Would you honestly have anything to do with them again (especially so soon - within months) without doing full research that there is no risk over the investment? I honestly cannot see any way in which Chainrai and Gaydamak haven't been colluding the full time, have milked the poorpy carcass for every penny and hope that their security on the loans (the land) hold up as the icing on the cake. The plan is for Chainrai to come out of this not looking like a villain when liquidation hits the fan and as the ground is sold for redevelopment

  6. ..Amusing report slating the blue few's goal:

    http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/jul/14/goals-gift-soccer-friendly-q/

"Either way, Portsmouth was due some sort of divine favor after the year-long nightmare it has endured — four owners, bankruptcy, relegation from the English Premier League, a fire sale of its best players, an endless journey to the States — and Stott provided it in the second half by overruling his linesman to grant the woebegone English club a goal"

    They don't seem too impressed.
