  1. Dare I say this but one person who handles the media really well, calls a spade a spade and usually has something entertaining to say is our old mate Harry. He certainly looks more relaxed than any other current manager.

Strachan could be funny but he could be arrogant too.

Burley was soberly dull :), Pardew spoke well and made an effort to know about our past.

Sturrock I can't really remember while Wigley was just Rupert's mouthpiece. Souness was always straight to the point while Hoddle you never felt meant what he said. David Jones was a straight talker but the best was of course Lawrie Mac who usually managed to hit the nail on the head.

Like some wise bird said though, NA can waffle as much as he likes as long he gets us out of this League. 3 point stomorrow is a neccesity.

    O RLY?

  2. If we play Lallana off Lambert, with Oxlaid-Chamberline and Puncheon wide I think we can cause them alot of problems.

Interchanging between the three players behind RL will leave their defence in two minds who to pick up.

Hopefully this makes space for AL and RL to really exploit and do the damage we know they can do.

    4-1 Saints.

  3. Iron man 2. 6/10

Micky Rourke was good, if not a bit stereotypilcal, as Whiplash.

RDJ is having a blast as Ironman. Didnt like the part of Warmachine though.

Not as good as the first, but its moving foward nicely to the avengers. Nice nod and wink to cap America also.

  4. It's slightly different with Adebeyor though, being an ex player and the way he left, however i agree though, if they cant take it dont dish it out, i fully believe that. I think most african or any player for that matter would react to a song such as

    "adebeyor, adeebeyyooroorooor

    Your dad washes elephants

    your mums's a whore."

Blimey, didnt realise they were singing stuff like that. The principle of my original point reamians the same though.

  5. I remember the banter because unlike a lot on here i was at a lot of the games. I am not talking about people not be 'ard and abusive, what i am saying is if a player gets a bit of abuse from sections of the crowd, dont go running to the old bill if he gives a bit back. If i called someone "a c*nt" i wouldn't go and report him if he called me one back. Which is exactly what happened in the case of Ian Wright.

Its common thing in football now. Look at Arsenal fans with Adebayor last year. Loved giving him stick, but when he shut them up by scoring and celebrating in front of them they couldnt take it.

At Leeds last year I was giving their fans loads of abuse, they scored, they gave me loads of abuse. At the end of the game I walked up the steps and I clapped the few guys I was having banter with. They did the same.
