  1. Delays new album (Star Tiger, Star Ariel) is probably their best if least immediate album. Other than that, Elvis Costello's Armed Forces (although it's 3 songs too long) and Serge Gainsburg's Du jazz du la revin at the moment. There are some good moments on the free o)-I-> album that came with the Mirror.

Off to V tomorrow with the Mrs, can't really say I'm looking forward to seeing anyone other than The Coral and Seasick Steve, the rest of the lineup is horrendous. I don't suppose any of the lesser known bands are any good on the bill???

The Charlatans offer a good option as headliner instead of KOL

    Prodigy will be good live

If all else fails Peter Andre is there ;)

What a truely dire festival that looks.

    Still sure your have fun

  2. Banter and verbals between home and away fans are part and parcel of the game. They happen in every single ground in the world.

Next they will have us all stood outside giving the away fans a guard of honour and applause as they enter/leave the stadium. Pathetic.

When Lallana scored my mate was giving the Bournemouth fans a bit of stick. Not silly, just what you would expect.

A copper stopped him, and said any more of that and your nicked.

    Whats it coming too?

  3. Would be nice to see the whole area outside the front of St Marys filled with scarfs/flowers etc.

Never been one for public mourning or the 'scouser way', but personally I am going to make the effort to pop up there tommorow and pay my respects. Hopefully everyone else does as well... to me that would be a fitting short-term tribute to the man.

And from a completely selfish point of view... if the Liebherr family see how respected and loved the guy is, it might just help them decide to get more involved with his football club, or at the very least... keep it.

Im the same. Like yesterday I felt numb. I said to myself have a word, but the way I see it, the club means everything to me and without him, it wouldnt have been there.

So the least I could do was stick a message on a shirt.

  4. Can't read it as not registered but it comes as no surprise after what was meant to be the minutes silence for Ted Bates at the cup game in 2003.

Same, but in a way im glad I cant see what those who find death funny would want to write
