  1. Doyle will not be the last to leave out of this batch of youngsters.

I have been told by someone who coaches within the club that youth team players that have gone through the age groups where not happy with the terms offered to the two players we got in from Tottenham recently.

For a number of years, the club has had a structure around salaries for youth players - that went out the window for the two high profile signings from Tottenham and it did not go down well.

Personally, if I had dedicated my development since an 8 year old to a certain club and had been told that we have a structure around financials to keep kids grounded and that changes to hoover up talent elsewhere, it would not sit right with me.

    Describe side stepping the question

If true (highly doubtful) - considering how United have been working in the world of football over the past decade I wouldn’t call it a glowing inditement of Ralph’s managerial ability

  3. Ultimately if Ralph was any good at this level then he wouldn’t still be at Saints, the Premier League and top European clubs have had a lot of movement in managerial appointments over the past three years - not one solid sniff of interest in Ralph.

Clubs can see past the tight budgets and restrictions in his role when hiring, he is just not that good and hopefully SR have seen it now

  4. Well, someone’s been talking to the Daily Mail.

Loose lips sink ships - May have some sort of bearing on people mentioning at the forum last night that you could see some tension.

Beginning of the end I think

Considering what I believe to be good work in the market so far by SR, it would be nice to see who they could bring in

    Champions - Man City

Top 4 - Liverpool, Chelsea, Man UTD

    FA Cup - Man City

    League Cup - Chelsea

    Relegated - Fulham, Wolves, Brentford

Ralph loses his job by October and is replaced by the current Luton manager.

    Nathan Jones? - that’s a bit left field…..

The run of bad form seems to coincide with Ralph saying he will leave at the end of his contract. No excuse though.

    This may have some merit.

Thought is was odd at the time - I can’t see any upside to making that information public and certainly not to 25 professional footballers, it just created unnecessary noise

He had interest from fc groningen, that's who made a bid. He believes he deserves more game time and he was given that this evening.

If you genuinely think any professional is going to show that level of petulance towards the club who pays their wages, then you are daft. How is that going to help him get a move?

    Have a word with yourself.

End of last year Barcelona were linked.

It's like the conspiracy loons have taken over the asylum?

Not really a conspiracy though is it.

Player has had top clubs in Europe reportedly interested in securing him

Player thinks he deserves more game time and sees other u23’s start ahead of him in cup competition.

Hands in transfer request that the club reject.

Within 2 minutes of starting debut is sent off

Sorry but that is as ridiculous a suggestion as the tackle was in the first place. Are you seriously suggesting that he went on to that pitch thinking "first chance I get I'm gonna try to break someone's leg". Stupid and impetuous yes, planned and deliberate I seriously, seriously doubt it.

Can’t believe some people are making this out as a “brain fart” moment, too much of a coincidence for that not to have some sort of intent behind it.

He’s not a saints ‘fan’ and never has been. However, he is a local lad who, from what I understand, is enjoying life back ‘home’.

that being said, should the right opportunity (he will want to play amd won’t do what he done at Liverpool and be backup) arise for him to leave for a top 6 club, he’ll be off.

my suspicion is that he’ll go to a London club or someone commutable from Winchester.

I am sure he grew up a Saints supporter. But we did bin him off in the academy, loyalty is a two way street
