Interesting how people look at things - most appearances in the Premier League for Saints and only James Beattie and MLT above him in goals. I am also pretty sick of watching every set piece/corner in the first three games not beat the first man - pretty sure he may help in that department. All a game of opinions though….

Personally, would welcome JWP coming back - I think some players just fit a club and vice versa and he is one of them. Do not really understand the hate towards JWP - always put a decent shift in whilst here and seemed professional and didn’t act like a twat when leaving (unlike others) that have made a return “home”

This has been handled poorly by all parties - they are an independent commission and by that nature do not care about the timelines (having a game on Saturday) the EFL do and should have prepared for this eventuality (sporting sanction) - not letting Saints or Hull sell tickets and fans making travel and accommodation plans. Ultimately, the EFL set this rule in place (when Leeds spied on Derby in the playoffs) and should have had a punishment in place if a club was found guilty of “spying” this is the formal punishment - akin to FFP The club are in the wrong and certain people should go for what has gone on, but this decision has one precedent to go of (200k fine) how have they come to the decision that a points deduction and forced withdrawal from the competition + loss of potential £200 Million windfall and the decision has to be swallowed without normal procedure being followed in relation to 14 days appeal. It stinks just as much as the clubs stink on spying on other member clubs

Highly doubt the game goes ahead Saturday to be honest. This is a huge decision/punishment for the EFL to make. The club surely has the right to use the full 14 days for appeal

This…..we have just been caught and have been made an example off. And the thing that stinks is the example is way over the top and opens up a whole can of worms. There should be something in place to say that if you are found to be guilty of breaking rules then this is the punishment
