  1. I just read the article again. In all honesty, all they are saying to the kid seems to be "live your life as you wish" they are hoping this approach will give him future confidence to be who he is. Sure, this will most likely lead to a few beatings for the kid. He will make his mind up pretty darned quick about which aspects of himself are true, false, important or trivial, and is free, with the blessing of both parents to choose a gender or not. He could well turn out to be a better rounded person as a result.

Once again, if this method were applied to religion, many or most would applaud this philosophy.

Disclaimer, I would not have the balls to experiment with my own kid in the way that these people are.

  2. Can I be called a hypocrite again for saying the banner is irrelevant and I chuckle at the reverence many here seem to apply to it.? Yet I have taken the time to post about it.

Complete nonsense and assume anyone who attaches importance is 60+ and viewing via Internet Explorer

Internet explorer is now edge. Of course it's all trivial, but so What? How many posts or threads on here have any semblance of importance?

It doesn't matter what the cover of a book looks like, but they all have different ones. It's about setting the tone for the contents.

  3. These things have shelf life, especially yeast if not kept cool. It may be ok, maybe not. It would not hurt to buy a pack of ale yeast and throw it in there. Be sanitary!

On the plus side, when it comes to bottling it, you will get to taste it and decide whether to abort or not.

PS. Very hard to tell from a bad pic, but it looks like it may be ok.

  4. If it's any help, to my best memory (17 years exiled) speaking to any number of footy fans of any club is approximately the same as talking on a forum. You can sit in between two fans at a match, and quite easily find yourself seated between two of this forum's finest trolls or two of our most learned historians. Critiques and debate about the tiniest elements of how the club's are run, player motives etc. seem to reach into every pore over there. Supporters there, for some reason have an undue sense of ownership of the clubs, and feel that their voices should be heard even, sometimes before they will lend their undying support.
