Ok I have finally decided. I can't stand it anymore. Glasgow becomes the first poster I have ever put on "ignore". Makes up a Facebook rumour then bangs on about it every other post trying to get bites....and Alpine has gone for it hook line and sinker (that bit is no surprise).....then makes up a "club insider" rumour also. Jeez

I put Glasgow on ignore yesterday as well - first time i've ever had to do that on here which is a bit sad. Wish the mods would just toughen up and ban the c*nt.

Jos did well for us in the Championship and is a nice bloke and a good influence within the group. He's not the most talented player, but he's 4th choice CB for us and he's good enough for that role. He'll probably move on in the summer, but he's done well for us to this point (despite some howlers along the way, yes) and doesn't deserve half the **** he gets - same as the likes of Guly.

I'll bear that in mind! The whole route was more interesting than the A6 to Paris: came across from Mont Blanc/Nantua/B-en-B/Macon etc. Then it was "oh look, vineyards" and little villages called Pouilly and Sancerre and the like.. :-) A lot cheaper in tolls and petrol too.

Without wanting to sound like a stalker, IIRC he said Lovren was inconsistent and has a very poor disciplinary record. Maybe I have a selective memory but I can't remember the last time WC said a player we were linked with is good...

I have never, ever seen Window Cleaner say that a player we've been linked with would be a good signing.

Personally I have watched him play once or twice and think he'd suit us well, and my Argie mate thinks he's the next big thing too. Quick, strong, good in the air and very tricky.

Think he'd be an excellent signing - for the right price.

I'd take a 1-1, although I definitely wouldn't field a weak side like people are saying we should. It would be nice to have a cup run, but ultimately I want that 8th spot.

The Walking Dead started again last night, seems like they're going to reaaaaaally drag out the first part of this run of episodes because we only actually saw 3 of the characters from the show over the whole running time of the episode. Still, there were some good bits and i'm looking forward to seeing what happens between the end of the season.

I'm also watching True Detective, which I have been looking forward to for a while. Caught up on the first 3 episodes last week and watched last night's one today. It's really excellent TV, and it doesn't feel slowly paced despite each episode being an hour long. There's a continuous action shot in the last episode (E4) that lasts for 6 minutes which is a really astounding piece of cinematography, as well as being a great action shot.

Oh, and it has the coolest f*cking title sequence i've seen on any TV show:

A word for Craig Pawson yesterday. Didn't do that much wrong and didn't flash cards around like a lot of refs do to try and stamp their authority on the game. More of the same please!

They signed him from the Nottingham Forest Youth Team after he stuck 5 past us in the FA Youth Cup.

I was at that game - he was a class above. Hope he does well, although I doubt he'll be given much of a chance at Chelsea.

I said at the end of last season that he'd make an excellent signing only for the mongboard hordes to declare him crap because he plays for Stoke.

Shawcross would be an excellent signing for us I think, but I doubt he'd leave them to go anywhere but a Top 6 team. Worth a punt though, for the right price.

I like the look of Jamie Paterson from Forest - he scored an excellent hat-trick against West Ham in the last round of the FA Cup.

Good technique, pacy and tricky with an eye for goal. Can play inside the striker too, so a nice versatile option for us up top.

Joe Hart is going to be the England #1 at the upcoming World Cup, and he's made some terrible mistakes this season. If you can show me a goalkeeper who's never made a mistake that cost his team points at this level, I will be astounded. Fact is, Boruc has saved us more points than he's cost us since his time here, and he doesn't deserve to catch a load of sh!t over a set-piece goal that his defenders didn't exactly do well over either.

Bring back Paul Jones I say!
