I would have been there but you seem to have made it clash with the Prem relegation decider, so bums to it...
Premier League is for arabs.

Reliable, but don't you find them a tad expensive, Lee..? I would have thought a Honda, a perfectly well made bike. Think about it - their cars are the most reliable around, and they achieved that on the back of their motorcycle engineering practices. Their bikes are considered extremely reliable. A Beemer seems a bit of an extreme jump into exotica, first time of asking. Just my opinion, of course.
Not when you get a discount on them

I know ... still don't know how he hasn't fallen off yet. Never seen the man sober LOL
Total hero, I expect he's off to Wembley today.

Hurlock is now a roofer.....for those who care

I was thinking about this again yesterday, so I looked at Divison One (now Premier League) Twenty years ago.
So heres how the league finished in 1988/89
Arsenal (Premiership)
Liverpool (Premiership)
Notts Forest (Championship)
Norwich City (League One)
Derby County (Championship)
Spurs (Premiership)
Coventry City (Championship)
Everton (Premiership)
QPR (Championship)
Millwall (League One...at the moment)
Man United (Premiership)
Wimbledon (Conference or League One, depends what you think of MK Dons)
Southampton (League One)
Charlton (League One)
Sheff Wednesday (Championship)
Luton Town (Conference)
Aston Villa (Premiership)
Middlesborough (Premiership...at the moment)
West Ham United (Premiership)
Newcastle (Premiership..at the moment)
You can see that alot of the teams in the top flight then, are not now, it's how the league system works, clubs rise and fall.

Cheers, all good advice. The important thing for now is getting the license and then looking for a bike (though I'm sure I'll start looking earlier). As I'm only 5ft 8" I'll need something I can handle easily. The temptation is to get something very quick and very impressive but there's plenty of time for that - I'll resist. The topbox isn't gay at all, the sensible side of me is already thinking something along the tourer side of the street (though it does seem boring).
If you're looking at tourers, then maybe see what BMW do. Very good motorbikes for everyday riding.
-
I have spoken to two Bournemouth fans in the last couple of hours about him, one said 'haha, I can't believe wacko Jacko is now after you, unlucky!' the other said 'be careful lads!'
-
Get a bike you can ride, so many people get their licence and then go out and start riding something like an R6, it’s not what they are used to and most end up in trouble (mate of mine lasted 20 minutes on his first ride before he dropped it!). When you past your test look at something like a Bandit, even if it’s just a for a few months, very easy to ride and will get you’re confidence up before you start looking at bigger and more performance based bike (if that’s the route you’re going to head down).

When did this happen? Championship games on BBC? Awesome.

Hang on - on the radio this morning some Boro fan talked about them going into liquidation in the 80s. That wasn't the end of them then. Why should it be the end of us?
Anyone know the real story - no just amateur speculation (which I readily accept is exactly what I have just contributed).
I think rules on clubs going into liquidation in the 80's was alot different to what it is today.
-
A long bank holiday weekend is going to go buy with no announcements. I just want something to happen, take over or no club i do not care anymore just want something to happen.
Exactly, I just want Fry to come out and say 'yes, the club has been bought by whoever and all will be fine' or come out and say 'we're not going to be in the football league next season'
-
I will be there.
-
This is a potential problem. Gaydamac might just fancy a cheap stadium to store his drugs and guns, along with a nice playing surface for paul harts mercenaries.
Would never happen, never. You won't get the supporters, them lot down the road wouldn't come here to watch them, and noone from Southampton would watch them.
-
Sorry did not see this post - but i presume you have to be able to guarrantee you can fulfil your fixtures by the mid JUne dealine? Do you think we could provide such a guarrrantee with no team?
Yes, because I'm sure we could have plenty of players from the Wessex League playing for us for free, purely because it's Southampton.
-
I have been looking into it, and it seems the punishment for liquidation is 2 divisions demoted and not 3. So Blue Square Premier, Salisbury City awaits!
Which backs up what the Blue Square Chairman said the other week when he said that we could be in that league.
-
Hmmm, we'll see.
-
Very true, I could see us having a half decent team for that level. I'm just wanting someone to buy the club, but I honestly really do fear what might happen now, it's just gone on too long for my liking!
-
If we go into liquidation then I suspect the council will by St Marys. I certainly hope so. They would lease it back to the club, probably for peanuts and make money using the conferancing facilities and having 4 concerts a year, probably trying to up that as well.
If not then I guess it would be ground share with Eastleigh, who would no doubt snap our hands off, although traffic and policing etc would leave alot to be desired so that may cause an issue, we could even end up playing in Bournemouth in the short term.
If we were liquidated then I would guess Leon Crouch would snap up the Ltd company to keep SFC going, and I doubt any other businessman, including Jackson would be interested in taking on a non-league club.
I don't think SMS will be knocked down, I don't think the council would allow it to.
I can't see SMS going, it's too much of an asset to the city. Okay, cheers for clearing a few things up and the playing squad? How do we get that together, assuming that the whole team would be released.
-
....Not being all 'glass half empty' but what happens if the club does go into Liquidation, how do we keep on going? We go into the Blue Square or Square South but surely we won't have anywhere to play? I'm just interested, would us going into liquidation be the only chance for Jackson to take over?

and I bet you spent the night...comparing football boots
We did Nick, they were amazed how white mine were. :gaywavingsmiley:

What about her fit mate?
Is this the lass who posted pics of herself....or someone posted pics of her?
I once stayed in a hotel with the Everton ladies team.
-
That was a cracking trip, did 5 nights there - mayhem. Will def go back one day. The birds there are a different class.
Am I right in thinking you're playing with ladyboys at the moment?
-
Personal hygiene i have found to be an issue. They are staunchly Catholic and this may explain their reluctance in the bedroom.
Depends what nation you are bashing mate, Poles....stay away.

At first, but it doesn't take long to 'dirty them up'
Good man, I shall be planning a trip to Lithuania next year, I shall see what I can. On a side note, Belarus birds swallow.
