  1. I was at the game and had a cracking week - a slightly strange place but still good fun. Cheap beer, cheap food and cracking women. 3 points topped it all off. The only downer was the pricey strip clubs.

Likewise.....couldn't get into any strip joints on the Wednesday night after the game, looked like they had been told not to let us in, maybe our group of people was too big, I dunno....so, spent time with the local working girls who were attractive enough :D

  2. I can see Burley's point though with Boyd. Kris has been on the bench for Rangers making a few games here and there where as Iwelumo has scored a fair few and played plenty of games for Wolves. The problem is Scotland fans now think they should be top of the group after the success of the last campaign. Burley will be sacked, he's already had a vote of confidence from the SFA

  3. Does anyone on here make any of there own booze?

I have been making my own beer for about 3 years. I think I am getting quite good now.

I currently have a Hoegaarden clone that I am very happy with and a Porter which although its very nice, at about 9.5%, it's a little strong for afternoon drinking.

I have also decided to give wine a go. I put 2 gallons of apple wine in to demijohns this afternoon. It's just a shame it takes to long (9 months, maybe more) until it ready.

Does anyone have any interesting experiences, recipes to share?

    Wouldn't mind trying that!

  4. ‘Also, it would enable us to offer decent corporate facilities to generate more cash’ This only works if you’re in the top four or seen as a larger club outside this alas Spurs, otherwise you’re just going to get a mediocre amount from local companies and the odd national one.

If you’re on about the conference side of things, then that also isn’t going to generate that much. I work in the industry and it’s taking a hit at the moment, companies would much prefer to have meetings within the work place than go to a venue, no matter what facilities you have, you cannot generate the income you could of got four or five years ago.

Saying this would generate a decent amount of cash is not true, okay, it would get you some income, but not enough to really to rely on.
