  1. There are hardly any multiple seats together from block 29 onwards. Most available seats are in the Chapel. Sometimes the club have held back seats in blocks 1 and 2 which they release late, not sure if they've been released yet or not.
  2. I doubt the monetary incentive will be all that. We'll only get group games and certainly not any England games (or perhaps even home nations); I can't see there being a huge clamour for watching Tonga v Romania.
  3. Before I start, I just want to highlight that this is a thread about the attendance at the upcoming Tottenham game. Just so that we're clear. A lot of people seemed to get caught out by the last attendance thread and get very angry by its contents once they became stuck within it, so I just want to make sure everyone knows what this one is all about. Anyway, home tickets seem to be selling very well. As of tonight, only 1,089 tickets are remaining, so we can assume they'll sell out in the next few days. Given that the game is on a Sunday (albeit not being shown on Sky) then that is pretty decent. And hopefully the ticket office will have sorted out the problems we saw at the Man Utd game which, despite being a sellout still saw many empty blocks of seats. With that in mind this could end up being our highest attendance of the season, Tottenham will clearly bring a full allocation of away fans. So if you want to go to this game and haven't yet got a ticket I suggest you get a wriggle on; I reckon they'll be sold out by Thursday or Friday.
  4. Hang on a minute, that can't be correct!! PES was on here a few days ago and told me I was entirely wrong when I suggested players were on these sorts of wages, and that the club were running to the budgetted figures submitted by Portpin of around £1.5K per player per week. Pompey fans should really hope that they stay in administration all season. If they come out of admin they will incur the minus ten points and then have to let go of all their players as they can't afford them. Or they could get Neil Allen to whip up a media sh*tstorm and put massive pressure on the players to sign on at reduced terms....
  5. Is it really that black and white? Is there no grey area at all?
  6. I don't think I mentioned anything about his overall game, did I? I pointed out that his covering of Fox was very poor for the last 10-15 minutes especially.
  7. So the club are actually paying out more money to have an inferior service? Brilliant. Best in class both on and off the pitch.
  8. I must have been watching another game where, in the last 10 or 15 minutes, Fox was overloaded with a two on one at least 3 times while Lallana was jogging back from a foray up the pitch.
  9. I always had you down as a well groomed, neat and tidy individual, Pap. It was certainly a surprise to see that you're actually a bit of a maverick renegade.
  10. Why did you choose to sit there and not higher up; that must be the worst view in the ground!
  11. I reckon Pap is the chubster in the front row with his replica shirt on.
  12. Could you imagine them trying to sell that many tickets all in one go in the first place? It would cause an absolute meltdown.
  13. Apparently Liverpool sell match tickets for every single home game right from the beginning of the season. Then again their demand far outstrips their supply of tickets, so they're perhaps not the best example for us to use.
  14. This analysis by Lawro of our defending is spot on; but tough to watch. And Hooiveld had an utter mare. One own goal, got the deflection for the other, and caught napping on a number of other occasions. Didn't realise from the game just how dreadful a performance it was from him.
  15. Mark Clattenburg showed again why he considered to be a very average referee.
  16. Just watching MOTM; Puncheon's disallowed goal was a fecking joke.
  17. We'll also be in bottom 3 if Reading get a draw or a win from their game in hand; so LGTC is perhaps the "fecking eejit".
  18. Blimey. Rather defeatist of you TDD. It clearly won't be at all easy, but if we've got all our players back then I think we'll have a real chance. We'll be odds on to lose, and I agree I'd probably tip us for a defeat, but by the same token I wouldn't be too surprised to see us come away with anything if we can hit some form and get the defence sorted out, even if just for one bloody game (although our goals against average came down from 3 goals per game to 2.86 goals per game; result............)
  19. Really? There's no chance, no chance at all, that we'll beat West Ham?
  20. Adkins didn't say that though. The OS said he did, but its not what he actually said.
  21. Which particular muppets on here are happy when we lose, dicky? Just so I know who to look out for. That's quite odd behaviour, celebrating when your own team loses.
  22. Indeed; but i was going by the premise of your original post. It matters little. And hopefully the scouts will have their targets clearly identified (just as we did with Jose Fonte, who signed in early January) so that we sign players early in the window rather than leave it to the last minute.
  23. F*ck off Fratts; we're way more obsessed than you are. Well, perhaps not you personally, given your apparent regular forays onto here, but you get the idea.
  24. 42, to be precise.
  25. Top thread!
