He will have experienced a lot colder than Stoke playing in that league!
True. Was more intimating he may struggle with the physicality of the Championship. Though they do make them tough in Russia I suppose.

Wasn't he going to PSG? Would be surprised to see this one, he's well above us and Championship level.
Quick search (never heard of him) and was supposedly linked with Arsenal a couple of weeks back.
Hope he weighs more than the 66kg stated though as might not enjoy a cold Tuesday in Stoke. -

Agreed. Good move for him. Personally don't really get the dislike for him to be honest, Did a decent enough job, and for the money we paid for him was a good value.
This.
8 years a Saint. Good luck to him.-

Do find it odd that again we’re not playing Suga or Bree at RB. Not really a glowing endorsement for either.

Think they’ve nailed the kits this year, expect the only problem will be for my lads to decide which one they want. Though I guess all 3 are an option via DHGate.
Anyone know if the hooky ones are true to size? -
Wish him all the best, great player, great pro, will really miss him.

Jeez I’m getting old. Just checked the team for the game in 2009. Graeme Murty! I don’t even remember him signing for us, let alone playing in that game - and I was there!

Really? Arguably would be much better for him than going to a current PL team. A chance to compete for the league title in a top team whilst developing his game in a league of a lower standard. And the bonus of CL, or at least Europa league football. Seems a great option for him to me.
Can't see Porto paying what we want for him though so doubt this would happen
Not saying it’s not a good opportunity for him, but like CB said, he wasn’t happy at Chelsea so a trip abroad may be too soon for him. He may have matured a bit since then, but let’s hope he wants to stay with us for another season.

Can’t see him wanting to go there. -
Can’t say I know much about the lad.

Thanks.
Shame. -
Can’t remember, is there an obligation to buy if they go up?

Another double-barrelled - bring him in!

Age is just a number...

He's 37-years-old and living the dream for his boyhood team, and this touch map shows it...
He's officially playing wide on the left, but Notts County love to switch things up, and McGoldrick has also shown here how he has license to roam and pull the strings.

Interesting to see Chris Davies is quite high up on some of the bookies lists. Not sure if there is anything in it, haven’t seen any rumours. Would be an interesting choice though not sure he’d want it given where he is. Also on a long contract I think.
Anyway, Cooper would be my first choice. -
Ok, first half, despite starting brightly was awful. Only we can be 3 nil down and the oppo’s xg is about 0.3!
Much better 2nd half with some actual goal threat and passion. Not saying much I know, but best game I’ve been to since Wembley. Decent atmosphere and nice to have something to cheer about for a change, even if in the end it’s another loss. Actually looking forward to the next one.

Rode our luck obviously, but we’ve had none so far so were due some.
Not a great performance, but not terrible either. Dont really care, just so pleased with the win.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully tickets will be sensibly priced.

Wednesday at home would be nice if they can win on pens.

How did you feel about him on 26th May?
Exactly. I’m genuinely surprised by the amount of hate on here.
Wembley last season was probably my happiest Saints moment. Having taken my boys to two Wembley defeats, it made it even more special and the scenes at the end will stay with us forever.
RM was responsible for that. Ok, it wasn’t a perfect season, but he brought a unity to the team we’d been sorely missing and both players and (most) fans were enjoying football again. So for me, he will always be remembered fondly for that alone.
This season’s obviously been a disaster and of course that’s on him. It’s not working and like most, I thought it was unfortunately time to part ways after the Leicester game. I hope we turn it around but I can’t see it and therefore expect he’ll go in the next few weeks. But I hope when he does, he gets some credit and thanks for some rare Saints joy.

Right. She’s a northern lass called Lesley, saying to her mate, whose turn it is next, “you go, chuck”, whilst making a “w” sign with her arms and a “u” with the rope. Took me a while, but I got there (stupidly thought you meant Oliver Skipp for a while 🤦♂️).
