Bit like weak people like you who pretend that mass, uncontrolled immigration isn’t also a threat to Europe
Ok I thought I could take the moderately nuanced middle ground between reasonable immigration controls and supporting the Nazi successor party. I didn't realise it was a binary choice.

Yeah there’s seems to be a small but vocal group that want us to fuck up to prove themselves right. I used to go with this twat . He had a pathological hatred of Ralph . The opposition would score which would actually make me feel sick for a while and then he loudly tell everyone “ I told you this was going to happen “ .
What motivates these cunts ?
I pissed off with the start but we’ve only just started. I’ve got no idea how we are going to do. But we’ve got a good squad. If they start to get going we can be fine in the league.
relagation would be dreadful but we go down and back up again.
totally convinced SR will stick with us . As Phil Parsons said it’s a 10 year project. It’s not a computer game.
I think if there is something we have learned from the last few years is going straight back up after going down is far from guaranteed.

Here's a novel idea. How about people voting for a candidate based on their perceived ability to be President of the US, rather than based on their sex, race or religion? I know it's a wild thought...
This is a wonderful sentiment, so let's remember that Trump is considered by most political historians to be in the bottom 5 US presidents of all time. He has already failed at the top job so why does he deserve a second chance?
Harris is tremendously underwhelming as a candidate but the democrats have had the best donation day in history following Biden's resignation so their support is coalescing. I'd think Trump is still the favourite but now it's a razor thin margin as opposed to a shoo in and a couple of good moments and Harris (or whoever is nominated) will defeat him.

Pelosi and Schiffer publicly pressuring Biden to step down. Absolute scenes.

Too late to pull Biden out I'm afraid and no chance of him winning as things stand. I've resigned myself to another Trump term which with the current stacked Supreme Court is likely disastrous for a lot of issues.

Taking an objective view, is communism fine and dandy?
Regardless, the french far right isn't fascist, and the far left not communist...a sense of perspective/reality is needed in the discussion.
True but the current French voting alliance does include the Communists and the socialists so that's a rather thin distinction.

After 14 years of utter shite the other side deserve a go. Happy with that result.

This is the sort of decision that fills me with dread and a sense of hopeless despair and questions my love of our club. A cynics delight.
We're down, no question.
This seems rather over the top.

First signing in a long time I can say I'm genuinely unhappy to see at the club. I'll cheer him on but he has a hell of a lot to do to impress me.

Had a way of scoring vital goals but his time was up and the change is necessary for him and us. Thanks Stuey!
I'm not sure I agree really that his time was up or that change was necessary. I do agree that he shouldn't be first choice anymore so if that is the criteria and he wants guaranteed games then it's for the best.

oh do fuck off. Thats jsut utter bollox isnt it. We beat them home and away easily and finished below them by three points with Downes injured for a significant amount of games. Now he is fit its clearly a straight shoot out.
I admit Leeds in the playoff final was my worst case scenario but I imagine they're more scared of us than the other way around.

A solid performance, relatively happy with that; let's see how WBA approach our home leg.

This makes me angry.
I don't see any motivation for this apart from benefitting the bigger clubs. And the EFL being weak and/or seeing no alternative but to give in.
Clubs happy to play 15+ games in Europe but not one or two more (maybe) in the cup.
I love the FA Cup.
From what I understand per the EFL statement they did not get a say. This negotiation was linked to the pay deal but when that fell apart the EFL were excluded from this decision.

At best I would say we have a 10% chance of auto. It's not impossible but it is very unlikely.

This is so strange to me, if I had made as much money as him over my career you can be damn sure I'd retire at 32. Good for Stu for having such tremendous drive.

Guardian report. Leicester City are at serious risk of breaking the English Football League’s profit and sustainability regulations, raising concerns about the club’s financial picture and a possible points deduction.
The financial pressures are likely to result in the need to sell players this summer. If found in breach, it is unclear when any punishment would come into effect.
The EFL believes Leicester, who have a three-point lead at the top of the Championship, are on course to break financial rules relating to this season. The club had to submit its projected 2023-24 accounts by 1 March and the EFL believe those figures would equate to a breach, according to the league’s independent club financial reporting unit (CFRU).
The EFL determined that it was appropriate for Leicester to submit a business plan to demonstrate how it planned to comply with spending limits but the club said the relevant financial rules did not apply because they were in the Premier League last season.
In 2018, Leicester agreed to pay the EFL £3.1m to settle the league’s claim they breached financial rules in 2013-14.
Ah yes, £3mi, a fair and just penalty for overspending to promotion.

I can see Leeds winning tomorrow and Saints getting the bit between their teeth to get to 5 points behind Leicester going into the game against them.
If that happens pressure can start to do funny things to a team.
For the love of god I cannot take going into the final game needing a win against Leeds for auto. Please do not wish for me to have a heart attack.
